This is an awesome place to give your Dog a good washing. They have everything there for you to give that dog a wash and blow dry. The wash station is amazing

I bring - or my assistant most of the time brings - my 5 Yorkies in every two weeks or so to get their nails trimmed.they're always very friendly at Dorothy's, they do the job quickly, and we're out in a few minutes. For the dogs I see getting groomed there, I think a lot of people bring their dogs in super matted. I think that they could/should be better at having a pet owner bring their dogs in and say "make them look like this". Then the expectations are there and can be met. Could they spend a few days organizing the shop and making it look high end? Sure.but it's hard to get around to this when you're super busy here in Flagstaff and you can't find a groomer to save your life.so please, give them a bit of a break, just set the expectations ahead of time.they are really nice people.

I bring my small 7 pound Chihuahua/Jack Russell girl for nail trim. Lily is always treated with warmth n care. She has history of abuse and getting her nails trimmed is not fun for her. But she has a good experience and doesnt tremblel as she is accuatomed to responding. They are gentle with her and am grateful for that

I was pretty horrified when I first walked into this place. It was extremely dirty. I know its a dog grooming place so I wasn't expecting it to be spotless but it was so messy and dirty I could barley concentrate. Everything in me wanted to take my dog and walk out but they had good reviews so I decided to leave my dog with them and just see how it goes. They did an OK job of grooming my husky. For the price I was expecting a bit more attention to detail. The hair between his pads was not shaved down and his nails were not clipped. He also didn't smell great after just being groomed. The location is a little on the rough side. We are new to the area and if I knew better I would have taken him somewhere else.
The biggest issues were how dirty it was inside and I realized after that they also never asked for our vet records. Makes me think they don't check to make sure the dogs they groom are up to date on their vaccines before putting all these dogs together in kennels stacked on top of each other.

Edited to add that whatever they did to de-shed my husky did not work. Usually after grooming his shedding is very minimal for the first two to three weeks. After this grooming he has been shedding just as much as he does without grooming. Complete waste of money.

I brought my two 85 pound shepherd/malinois in today. I have taken my babies to petsmart before and I will never go again. Dorothys K9 Grooming was so good with my girls and they did an amazing job. I was so impressed. My dogs look amazing and the staff is absolutely the best I have come across at a groomers. Dorothy's is affordable and the atmosphere was impeccable. I absolutely recommend them for any grooming needs and this has become my new home for grooming. Thank You Dorothy's. I just love everything about the experience. I could not ask for a better grooming team. YOU ALL ARE JUST AWESOME! THANK YOU FOR TAKING SUCH GOOD AND GENTLE CARE WITH MY FUR BABIES!

Employees are friendly and professional. Dorothy saved us a 250 dollar vet visit today because she is so knowledgeable.

Yes, the price was good but it didn't even look or smell like they bathed my pup. I asked if she did and the answer was "yes". So why did he have old crusties in his eyes and still extra hair on his face? !? ! I had her fix his eyes right there and she gave no explanation why she had to fix anything. From the moment I walked into the space I was skeptical. It looks gross and the kennels are stacked up along the wall like we're in the getto. Definitely won't be back. My dog is my world and I'm sorry I left him there.

The first time we took our Mini Goldendoodle to Dorothy’s, we were very satisfied with our experience. She seemed at ease, the groomer was friendly, & we were impressed with her new cut. The second time around was a completely different experience and we ended up finding another groomer. When I walked in to pick up our pup, no one greeted me even though there were multiple women who looked at me as they were grooming other dogs. I had to speak up before I was helped. Our pup’s body looked great, but it looked like someone inexperienced had cut her facial hair & ears. When we arrived home, I had to trim a few uneven hair hanging from her ears and I noticed her ears were different lengths. Our current groomer is still in the process of making both of her ears even with time. We couldn’t believe the service we paid for. Multiple family and friends commented on how uneven her ears looked without us even saying anything. Very disappointed- I would not recommend this grooming establishment.

Dorothy's has always taken great care of our pets! They come out excited, smiling, and proud of how they look every time!

I think they did a really good job on my Yorkie Poo. Very friendly staff. Very decently priced for sure! Cheaper than anywhere else I've gone to get priced for my dog. I will go back to get her groomed there again! Also my dog wasn't nicked or cut which I have heard horror stories from other places. So definitely pleased there.

Today I took CoCo and Oliver to Dorothy‘s canine groomers on fourth Street. And when I was paying the groomer came up to me and was like are you the owner of the blonde Cocker and I replied yes.she said she had a couple gnats on the bottom side of her ears and when I was brushing them it got pulled out and nicked her a little bit. I thought that was interesting because my entire life, I’ve had cocker spaniels and I’ve never had that happen but there was a lot going with other dogs and what not.so I paid and left.when I got into my truck and went to pet Coco, I saw with the groomer was saying a “tiny neck” from BRUSHING her hair was.when in fact it actually looks like she took a chunk out of her ear with clippers or scissors. The groomer straight up lied to my face and try to cover it up.very unprofessional.

I am so Disappointed on Dorothy's K9 Groming yesterday May 15. First of all they didn't even cut his fur right or hair however it sounds better IDK. Then second they didn't even have the nerve to tell me that they accidentally or purpose cut into his skin since they didn't say anything. I was really enjoying leaving him there well not anymore since they don't have the nerve to let you know something happen. That's what they did! They also did something similar to my brothers dog but on his paws

Just went for a doggie nail trim. They do it as a walk in for 10 bucks. I'm not a huge fan of the Dremel style trim and that's what they use but my dog did well

It fast and easy i brought my little dog sadie to get her nails trimmed and glands done the lady was so nice and knew what she was doing definitely would go again
