Dos Cabezas WineWorks reviews
17This was our first stop on our Sonoita/wine tour the Sunday before Labor Day weekend. This was our choice as our first stop and were turned away by owner! We had called ahead a couple weeks ago and were told it was fine without reservation. Owner or manager said they couldn’t accommodate our party of 22.
I would give it 4.5 if I could, but went with 5 so it doesn't hurt their overall rating. A bit more pricey then some of the other vineyards (only reason for 4.5). But the wine (and pizza) were both very good!
Very relaxing venue along with great food and libations. The owners are super friendly as well!
Delicious pizza from Pronghorn Pizza.took awhile for pizza to get done but plenty of time to taste wines in the meantime.
Are you in Sonoita Az? This place is a must, great wine and excellent pizzas … we are definitely visiting again
Always our first stop in the Sonoita area wineries. Consistently great wines! They also have a guest house you can rent next door.
I love the outdoor area, the pizza & the delicious
(The pizza was so good I forgot to take a picture)
This would be a great lunch time drive if you live nearby in areas such as Benson, Tucson, Sierra Vista. The décor is great along with the welcoming attitude of the staff. The pizzas are made from scratch. They do make wine on the property and sell many varieties by the bottle or glass. As you can see, part of the area is pet friendly. Its best to visit on a weekday; weekends can be a little crowded.
Staff was super kind and helpful and the location was perfect. We also really enjoyed the pizza. The wine was ok, no real memorable flavors to speak of.
We stopped by here for some lunch and left having some of the best pizza my girlfriend and I have ever had. The pepperoni with honey is divine, and the Allred is locally sourced and fresh. Come here!
Wine was good, almost exclusively from Wilcox, AZ. Snacks and atmosphere were great, as was staff.
Updated: This establishment I consider even better than I found it before - convenient location, helpful staff, intriguing wines. My home state is one they can ship to - score!
Tasting wines was fun and friendly-dog, cat and human all entertained.
Pizza and wine tasting wS wonderful. Super waitress and lovely way to spend some relaxing time. Will definitely return.
We stopped in here for a late lunch and we were so glad we did. We had our pup with us and was looking for a dog friendly spot. They were busy! BUT, they could accommodate us on their front patio.we order a bottle of the 2022 Pink. It was perfect for a warm day. Our dog had a really nice bowl of water. We also ordered a Konrath pizza. Wow, this is a great pizza. It was a tomato, sausage, poblano and onion pizza. It also had a hint of salt. Yum! We also ordered the peanut brittle dessert…gluten free and wowzers, yum. I highly recommend a stop here. We will be back! Jana was our server and she was extra awesome!
Very chill spot to sample some wine and enjoy some unique pizzas. I have never had nor even thought of a lemon pizza but it absolutely works. The patio is really nice with some interesting plants and decor.
Holy pizza and wine! Seriously outstanding wood fired pizza using locally sourced ingredients, quite possibly the best food you can find in Sonoita. The wine is excellent as well. Did a flight and enjoyed every wine I had. Fun decor and nice atmosphere. Staff and business owner were so incredibly kind and insightful as well! (Also pet friendly, like most spots in Sonoita, so that’s a plus too!)
I'd heard good things about the pizza here and was not disappointed. We tried 3 of their pies and each was delicious. They beat any pizza I've eaten in Tucson hands down.loved the unusual flavor profiles they put together. They really work. It's well worth getting the charcuterie plate and of course a bottle of their very nice wine. Great service and laid back patio make for a fine, long lunch.
