The place is not up to normal Hilton standards. The building and grounds are kind of run down. Elevator out of order. Ice machine out of order. TV service interrupted intermittently. Blood stain on the drapes. Room not super clean. Not impressed.

Dated rooms. Carpet needs to be cleaned. Scratches on the walls, doors, etc. Linen was dingy. Beneath the doubletree standard.

Needs updating! The bathroom was the size of a phone booth. Several elevators did not work. Not Hilton quality…. Especially for the price. Over $250 per night. Right by the airport…. Planes flying over all night. Probably won’t stay there again. There are much nicer hotels available nearby.

Check in was very smooth, the young lady Adrianna was very helpful and did the most for me and my husband kudos to her.room was a bit outdated but staff was very helpful throughout our stay. Was not expecting it to be so cold in Tucson yet in our room but we were provided a heater which was very helpful

Disappointed. We've never had a bad stay at a Hilton property until last night. The room was horribly outdated, stained carpet, broken cabinet door under the sink, and the air-conditioning doesn't cool below 72. The room had a smell that caused both my husband and I to be extremely stuffy. We were only here one night to be near the airport thankfully. The saving grace was the wonderful desk staff. The gentleman who checked us in was willing to go above and beyond.

Excellent service and accommodations under the circumstances. We are in the mist of the pandemic and our reunion transferred at the last minute. The hotel is old, but clean, all facilities in good working condition.
Staff friendly and accommodating.

This place has better times, my idea has been that a DoubleTree means a great place where they take care of every detail. Well, this one in particular is paying the price of the age, it’s seems like a tired building, where you can be surprised by in doors with paint spots, drawers broken, an elevator broken, and it keeps going. The price can be good if you compare with Hampton which is more expensive (?).

We stayed in a room, suite that accommodated 7 of us. It was clean and very nice. I am a Hilton Honors member, so I received a discount for prepaying. It was an hour away from the OK Corral. This was our weekend getaway.

BEST HOTEL EVER. I love everything about this hotel. To begin, you should know that the building is Spanish-Colonial Style, and boy is that a great style. From the pine trees, agave, and palm trees in the courtyard, to the fountains in the plaza, this hotel has it all. The rooms are clean and classy, and meet the Hilton Standard. The staff is kind, caring, and compassionate, and they all deserve a raise:)

Definitely the best place to stay in Tucson (can I say the World?). But don't tell all your friends, or else I might not be able to book a room.

Not liking it. This trip to Tucson was for business and I wished I booked a different hotel. The place is okay but the staff act like you are bothering them and are rude and unhelpful. I travel to Tucson monthly to attend dancing events and typically spend several nights each time. First and last time here, just due the staff.

This hotel is a top notch in pretty much all areas.
Outside walkways need to be cleaned, there's a bit of pine needles and cigarette butts.
Our room is beautiful. Needs some maintenance; bathroom electric exhaust vent doesn't work, curtains need maintenance.very hard to open and close. Toilet paper holder should be replaced with a recessed in the wall holder, hit my arm almost every time.

Spent 5 nights here for a military reunion. The rooms were much larger than I expected. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our large group.

It is very close to the airport (commercial and military), so there is jet noise, particularly from the military jets.

Stayed here because hotel was assigned to our son's soccer team. Property needs updating. Fire alarm went off 3 mornings in a row at 6: 07AM. Could only get clean towels on one day of our stay. Bathroom is tiny and sink is in the bedroom. Breakfast buffet was very good, Restaurant staff was very accomodating and friendly as was the bar staff. Girl at the front desk was nice.

Hotel rooms could use some refreshing but the courtyard and pool area are nice and you can't beat the proximity to the airport.

Very Disappointing! Room was not ready upon arrival and Rooms are old and in desperate need of updates! For me being a Hilton honors no one at this property mentioned that. The Digital key was not working. And the worst part is I am looking for another place to stay in the future!

Unfortunately, we had a negative initial interaction with staff prior to arrival, as well as were told that the room we had booked in advance was no longer available. When we had called to ask if an early check-in was possible, we were abruptly interrupted and immediately told no due to being fully booked and not having sufficient time to clean the rooms (we called about 4 hours before check-in). It wasn't the fact that it wasn't possible to check-in early that left a bad taste, it was how we were talked to by the employee. Due to an event time conflict, we were unable to check-in at 3pm and couldn't check-in on the app due to it being down for repairs. When we arrived back at the hotel at 9pm, after an eight hour drive and five hour event, we were told that they did not have the room we had booked. Thankfully they did move us to a room of equal value; however, it was a shock that our room was not held for us, considering we were told that our room would be ready for us as long as we checked in before midnight. I hope to give the hotel another chance, but I must admit that I am hesitant to do so.

Door was missing a run from the shutter. Anyone walking by could peak into the room. We covered it with a towel. Shower head looked as though it had never been cleaned and by the looks of the shower curtain I would guess it to be 20 plus years old. Trash cans had no liners, room was not very clean, jets in the jaccuzi were broke, and the hotel does NOT have free breakfast. My advice, stay somewhere else.

I edited my review based on their response. First, I booked through Hilton, NOT a 3rd party as you claim. 2nd, if the reason for lack of maintenance and cleanliness was due to room never being unoccupied then I will say your manager needs to be let go and someone put in place who knows how to schedule maintenance and cleaning. Very lame excuse you have with that one. I will change mycstar rating from 1 to zero.

The room amenities seemed dated; toilet seat would not stay up.

Hotel restaurant had some great drinks, but the steak was terrible, veggies were old and not edible. Chips were fantastic - stick to those and the margaritas and you'll be fine.
