I've been going to Dr. Hartzler now for well over 20 years and he is the best! If you are having knee or hip issues, I highly recommend him. I've sent several friends to him as well over the years and everyone was thrilled with his care.
Dr. Hartzler, his PA, Christine, Gyra (sp?) as well as, entire staff, were warm, friendly and oh so caring. They listened to me and were so helpful! I wish they were my GP!
Doctor Hartzler is the very Best
Orthopaedic Surgeon in all of Arizona. I know first hand. He has replaced two total knee and a hip replacement. At age (77) feel better than I've felt in some time. He's there every step of the way.
This is an Amazing practice, with excellent support services. They even provide their own (PT) clinic.
If you're really serious about your health, this is the Best Place For You!

It was okay. I didn't wait too long. I saw the PA, she was great. Saw the Dr. Though it was about 30 seconds, it was okay. My questions were answered and I was only there for the entire visit about 1/2 hour.
Today I am 5 weeks post-operative with a full knee joint replacement. I am thrilled with the result, walking unaided and riding a recumbent bike at the gym 4 miles on each of the past two days. Midway into my recovery, I pushed too hard, stopped my pain medication and ended up in such severe pain, I was afraid to walk. I had a complete meltdown in Dr. Hartzler's office. Every member of his staff from the member who checked me in to the member who checked me out was wonderfully supportive and kind. Chief among these were Dr. Hartzler himself and his assistant, Kristen. After 3 days of medication, my pain was back under control and I was back to working hard on rehab in therapy and on my own. I could not have had a better experience overall than Dr. Hartzler and his entire staff! The results are the proof!
Wanted a second opinion on my knee so I called OrthoArizona and was scheduled with Dr Hartzler within 5 days and I am so thankful he was able to see me. Turns out my knee was worst than expected and Dr Hartzler had me in surgery within 3 weeks to take care of the problem. He fixed it and he and his staff are phenomenal. Always cheerful and they genuinely care about you. Love them and will recommend them to anyone who needs knee replacement.
