Dr. David L. Thomas, DMD, Tempe AZ

I have been going to Dr. Thomas for about 1 year now; initially, they helped resolve some cracked teeth issues that eventually led to oral surgery. Their recommendations for an oral surgeon were spot on, pleasant work staff and great dentist, until today! This would of been I believe my 4th visit, this time for a simple cleaning. I made my appointment about a month prior, took time off work and showed up 15 minutes early. The front desk person was on the phone when I arrived, acknowledge me with a hand gesture and I seated myself. A second person came to the front desk and began working, I approached her and stated I have a 2: 15 appointment and wanted to check in, "she first said, oh, I thought she checked you in", I said no, I haven't spoken to anyone. Without going into every word, she did not help, it was horrible service and attitude by the second person, who I believe she was a dental assistant. Anyway, at this point I was very disappointed and upset at her dismissive tone and lack of service. I decided to leave and get my dental work done somewhere else. FYI, my girlfriend and her daughter will not be back either. Its unfortunate, I found a great dentist; however, his staff needs to be retrained and understand, it is not their business and cannot treat customers in this fashion. 1-Star for Dr. Thomas!

A bit disappointed. No preventative measures are taken and the procedure done lead to sev jaw pain that lasted over 6 weeks. Looking to change dentist as my oral health is important to me.

Our family has been going to Dr. Thomas for about six years now, since moving back to the valley. We’re all extremely happy with our experiences.

We went here for a couple years and it seemed fine. We ended up changing dentists and all of us had cavities that were not detected from our 6 month. Very rude to his assistants.
