I am absolutely in shock over Janelle Earnshaw’s review. I don’t believe she saw the same Dr Karami that I know. He is hands down the best doctor I have ever met. Not only does he genuinely care about his patients he takes EXTRA time to explain about the effects of your medications. He listens, he never makes you feel rushed, he cares. When he’s not at his office you can call him at home! He calls on weekends and after hours to make sure you are doing ok. Janelles review sounds like a person with a serious drug addiction and I hope she has gotten into a rehab. If you want a psychiatrist who really listens, explains things in a way you can understand, easy to reach by phone, honest, knowledgeable, and caring - then this is the doc to see.

I can not believe some of the bad reviews I read on here, this Dr is amazing. I have been Dr Karamis patient for just about 5 years. He came to this country in 1986, speaks fluent Persian, English, and Spanish. He has adapted to this culture very well. It makes my heart sad to see people writing bad things about him being a foreigner. In my 5 years of being a patient of his I have only had to wait no more then 10 min for my apt, way less then I have had to wait at any other dr office. He has always made sure that I had medication and even when he gave me a back order of medication it was done so because the medication is in high demand. As far as the no show fee, all providers ask for a no show fee. He charges 75.00 where I went to a psychiatrist who tries to put 500.00 on hold on my credit card just in case i missed an apt.now that is crazy. And someone wrote about microwave noise? Wow, is it not ok for the staff to have warm food or warm coffee? Sorry for the long rant, I am writing this mostly in reply to 1 particular review I read on here by a Joseph Van Zant, If you feel so free to demoralize doctors who take care of our needs and try to discourage them as well as create fear so others wont trust these good dr.sounds like you need to find better things to do with your time, He has a strong beliefs in keeping everyone safe and not throwing addictive meds at people, so maybe you are just mad at that? Not sure? But anyway. Dr Karami is amazing and I trust him with my life the life of my husband and my father. Go check him out for yourself
