Dr Baez is an amazing GI specialist both friendly and knowledgeable.
However, the staff are very disrespectful when it comes to the dignity of a patient. After my first appointment in late 2022, I was waiting for the prescription to be sent to my pharmacy for weeks. Everytime, I called the front desk, they told me they have done their due diligence until my Pharmacy proved to me that they have not done so. I literally had to take a half day PTO and go the office and clear things out. The lady continued to deny their negligence and instead attempted to send me away since dr is not seeing patients on Fridays. So to avoid any awkwardness, I left the office and went to my Pharmacy directly. As I arrived, my pharmacy told me that the prescription has just been filled which again proved that they lied to me. With all that, my final appointment in late 2023 also went awkward; as I was leaving the office, the lady told me since I have cancelled one appointment before, I should "make sure" not to do it again. By the way that was one out of four appointments. It is very unfortunate that the staff can so easily lie to your face and yet they have the audacity of telling you not to miss your next appointment. I wish such a great Dr had more emotionally intelligent staff.

Dr. Baez was ok but his front office staff are very bitter and rude. They should be ashamed of how they treat patients and make everything much harder than they have to be I would steer away from this practice.

This doctor is amazing! I was expecting to hear that my "symptoms" are all in my head, but not at all. I feel like the doctor truly listened to me, and immediately scheduled the necessary procedures. After each one, I received a printout showing pictures of my condition, the diagnosis, and recommendations. This was very helpful because I'm not familiar with medical terminology, so, although he talked with me right after, it helped that I could re-read the post procedure report.

It's been 4 weeks since the initial procedure and almost two weeks since I began treatment, and I feel better than I have in five years. I'm well on my way to recovering my health digestive system. I'm grateful to this doctor and his staff and I will continue to see this doctor for such needs.

I had a pre-colonoscopy appointment with this office, and I must tell you I’ve never been treated so badly by the front desk person. I wish I had gotten her name. She was rude and I felt as though I was bothering her. I saw Dr. Baez and he was very nice. After my meeting with him I was given a sheet of instructions to follow before the procedure. Today, April 26,2023, I wanted to read the sheet to refresh myself on what I needed to do in preparation, but I couldn’t find it. I looked everywhere, but since I couldn’t find it, I called the office and explained that I no longer have that sheet and could I please get another one. The person on the phone identified herself as Anna. She was also rude, and in the middle of my explanation cut me off to ask for my date of birth. Then she told me that they wouldn’t give me another instruction sheet unless I personally came into their office, and then at that time they would charge me $3.00. After taking a disbelieving beat for a moment, I canceled my upcoming colonoscopy. I also called my general doctor to let her office know of my experience and request a referral to another gastroenterologist.

Kudos to Dr BAEZ and his team. Arrived at 0915; efficiently registered by Anna. Professionally, politely screened plus smooth IV start by Jane, RN. A smidge delay as there was one patient ahead of me. Then Tom, CRNA told me the plan of care and I was rolled to the procedure room. Met a pleasant Alexandra, Dr BAEZ’ assistant. Propofol pushed at 1011 and was lights out. Was getting dressed at 1100 w color photos and report in-hand. On the 5-year plan thanks to two polyps; look benign but (t) undoubtedly needed removed. So don’t wait; schedule your procedure now! Regarding the prep, Highly recommend some blue Gatorade mix in the Golytely, liquid IV and Better than Bouillon

Went to this practice seeking a remedy for long term GI problems and abdominal pain previously diagnosed as diverticular disease. Doctor scheduled a colonoscopy, even though I had one just 2 years ago, and even though I informed him the prep now causes me to bleed (due to aforementioned long term GI problems). After the procedure was done, doctor made no comments on what's my causing my issues, no recommendations for what I'm supposed to do that might help with them, and didn't schedule any kind of follow up. So basically I had a very unpleasant, and redundant procedure performed for no reason whatsoever - at least, no reason having to do with helping me - and I'm in just as much pain as I was before I visited his office.
