Dr. Lacey A. Rao, MD reviews
9Dr. Rao is an outstanding hand surgeon. Compared to family and friends that had the exact same surgery my experience and results with Dr. Rao was far superior. She’s excellent and highly recommended.
I have had both metacarpal thumbs done by Dr. Rao, and I have been absolutely grateful for her knowledge, professionalism, and clarity for each procedure and the recovery afterwards. When complications arose, she was prompt and compassionate throughout everything! Thank you, Dr. L. Rao, for everything you have done to help me become pain free!
I went to see Lacey Rao about having a large cactus thorn harpoon in the base of my dominant thumb right hand. This was very painful and Dr. Rao got me on her surgical schedule the next day. She is kind and thoroughly competent I believe. Have worked with a lot of hand and wrist surgeons since I am a diagnostic radiologist and I think she is superb. Highly recommended. David E. Baker MD
Dr. Lacey Rao performed my carpal tunnel surgery on one side, and will be doing the other one later this year. She's very kind, brilliant, thorough, and an excellent surgeon. She also treated and healed my extremely painful trigger thumb earlier this year. Highly recommend.
Saved my fingers and thumbs so I could paint my art again and finish typing my book which was successfully published. Very competent, excellent skill, good bedside manner, clear about what procedure is explaining it clearly and recovery. I highly recommend.
I needed some help with my wrist on a short time frame. Dr. Rao's office was able to get me in the next day with her awesome Nurse Practitioner. I was well taken care of.
Only having met her once, Dr. Rao appeared to be a smart young female surgeon, in a hectic office, serving patients equally from across the community. I applaud and support her and hope she's paid equally to men doing the same job.
Competent and professional doctor but not punctual remotely. Out of many appointments even if I had the first one she was a minimum 40 minutes late. Obviously this is her choice as when I had my surgery at an outside center she was less than a minute late on others controlled the environment other than her. This makes me question all of the other abilities of the surgeon and office when they can't be punctual.very bad wait time at front counter especially when trying to social distance and hold your spot period could be quicker and more efficient not requiring all the information you pre-registered online in advance for a third time
