Dr. Lida Raoufi DDS/American Family Dentistry, Scottsdale AZ

Due to certain issues I had to change dentists and chose to go to this one only for a check up. During the exam I was told I was going to need 4 root canals and crowns because they said my previous dentist didn’t fill the cavities properly. I was in shock and went back to my old dentist as well as my parents dentist in order to get other opinions. They told me that no root canals or even fillings were needed to be done. Meanwhile American Family Dentistry was telling me that I needed a large procedure done, btw I’m 17 years old and should not need 4 root canals.

It was an amazing experience! Dr. Raoufi was so sweet, as well as the assistants! Will definitely recommend to my family and friends. Thank you Dr!

11/10 Best teeth cleaning/dental visit I have ever experienced! Was instantly greeted with a smile and warm welcome from the front office ladies. I came in the get a cleaning by Kearsten and she did phenomenal! Friendly, easy to talk to, informative, gentle, and thorough. She made sure I was comfortable and performed top notch x rays, gum exam, and cleaning- this experience alone made me a repeat patient Next I saw Dr. Raoufi for a general exam and to inspect for a chipped tooth. She took her time to visually inspect my concerned area and completed multiple tests to come to the conclusion that there was no crack, only sensitivity due to the incident. Thank you for taking my concerns serious and making me feel at ease! I do not visit the dentist often so when I do I have high expectations. Kearsten, Dr Raoufi, and the rest of the staff exceeded my expectations plus more. I wish I could give this office 10 stars! Thank you!

WOW! What an incredible experience. I am new to the area and needed to find a reliable and professional Dentist going forward. I happened upon Dr. Raoufi's office and went in to inquire. I normally don't do that but felt compelled to do so.
I was greeted by an incredible young lady, very professional and polite, Shannon. She welcomed me in and made me feel comfortable from the start. We looked at availability, exactly what i needed and setting up an initial appointment. Shannon was very engaging, she knew what to ask and define exactly what would be best. It's very difficult to move to a new area, find comfort in the things we need and know that there are people that care. I have no doubt that if the rest of the team at Dr. Raoufi's office are like Shannon I am going to be well taken care of for many years to come.

Dr Raoufi has been my Dentist for many years. Even after moving to Washington State I will fly in frequently just to use her services. Her warm staff always makes me feel very welcome. Had a great experience at Dr Raoufi’s office today. Starting with Beatrice at the front desk who was very professional and friendly, then Jessica the Higenist did a great job, it didnt hurt at all, and then a check up with Dr Raoufi who is very knowledgeable and inspires confidence. I highly recommended this place.

A little back story about myself. I do not like going to the Dentist, until I started going to American Family Dentistry, They make this process so much less painful. Dr Raoufi is the best Dentist and I recommend her very highly.

Due to my move I had to switch Dentists, which i hate to do. I was lucky when i found this Dentist office. It is a well run office and Dr Raoufi is great and treated me with care while getting my filling (who likes to get a filling?). The hygienists are excellent too. Overall, I am so happy I found them and i do not miss my old Dentist now.

I've been coming here for the last 5 1/2 years. I'm very strict about great teeth and cannot stand an ugly mouth. I know that sounds mean to some people but visit a dentist; Good Grief! Dr. Lydia and her doctors on hand are absolutely awesome! Never had a problem and I come here all the time for my routine cleaning and dental work. The front desk is very friendly and informative as well. Mona's been there since I started coming. Not a high employee turnover so everyone knows what they're doing. Thank you for your hard work:)

Most people have negative experiences when it comes to "going to the dentist", some even HATE it, I too WAS one of them. But, then I was referred to Dr. Raufi's office (aprx. 10+ yrs) and I look forward, without the usual dread and discomfort.
Dr. Raufi and her staff and SO friendly & comforting & happy, while maintaining a professional environment.
Dr. Raufi will only suggest treatments that ARE NECESSARY for your well being.
