Amazing doctor! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable doctor to get help with chronic pain. Explained my procedure in detail, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The staff is so kind and had little wait time! Can’t say enough great thing about this place! So glad I came here!

The providers and staff are AAA plus. They care about their patients and this is not a mill like some of the big pain offices. They call patients back promptly not a week later. I recommend Dr. Patel and his associates to anyone looking for caring and compassionate pain specialists. They are innovative and use advanced techniques.

I have been seeing Doctor Patel for years. I have stage 4 cancer. He is a consummate professional and takes wonderful care of me. I couldn't ask for a more intelligent, empathetic and professional caregiver.

I needed a letter from Dr. Patel and he wanted to charge me $500 per hour and this did not include the letter. In addition, Dr. Patel is very arrogant, and his staff, as far as I can tell, can make appointments and send out bills. It took me months to get one last bill I needed to submit, because it appears to be contracted out. When inserting one of my injections, he had the receptionist in the room, he asked her if she could see where he was placing the injection on the screen. She responded, "no". After this conversation took place, I called the office and asked if they have an LPN or an RN as a part of their staff- their response was "no". I received relief from the injections;, but I would never go back to Dr. Samir Patel.

Patel is WONDERFUL. I have personally referred my husband and friends. He has strong ethics and morals. The state of AZ has laws and he follows it. He takes his time and answers all the questions as his time is valuable. I have been his patient for 2 years and counting.

Dr Patel is an excellent physician. I was in pain and was recommended to this Dr by my family physician recently. I was hesitant and apprehensive before my first appointment but after speaking with Dr Patel all my anxieties was relieved. He is very professional, patient and kind. All my questions were answered.

My first pain injection was perfect. He is definitely worth the wait. He has made my life pain free without surgery. I am able to ride my bicycle for 5 miles three times a week without any pain. I am also in the medical professional field and would highly recommend him to everyone.

Took my wife who has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, she has been thru more chemos and radiation than 99% of humans with resultant chronic pain, and was seeking a consult on alternative pain medications outside of opiods.

To initially consult, Dr.insisted, and would not budge on paperwork related to childhood trauma of 45 years prior and would not provide a basic discussion as he was so caught up on simplistic correlative factors that he failed to see the human in front of him while showing no interest in CT scans of calcified tumors. It was more important to have a box checked on childhood sexual abuse, which labels a patient differently between female and male.

. And to compare this stubborn behavior to world class physicians we have seen at Mayo or Fred Hutch in Seattle where physicians thoughtfully engaged their patients.what a waste of time.

After a defensive 5 minute dialogue, we agreed there was no purpose in proceeding further, walked out.one of the worst encounters in my wife’s complex ten year cancer journey.if you need a shot in the knee, go here if its convenient.if you have a complex cancer that requires a thoughtful physician, avoid.

Dr Patel is the best pain doctor in southern Arizona hands down. He is very patient and smart. I had a very bad back and now ever since I have started seeing Dr Patel, my back pain is pain free. My husband has also been going to him for about 4 years for sciatica pain and is pain free. I would recommend him to everyone.

This place is the real deal. I went to another pain doc and they did not help at all. I saw Dr Patel and he knows his stuff. I didn't have to wait long but if I did, I would wait for hours because I would get it done right.he searches for the cause of your pain and sets out to eliminate it.

Dr Samir Patel is the hands down worst doctor EVER. I HAVE SEEN THE SAME PSYCHOTHERAPIST FOR 25 YEARS. I SAW DR Samir for a procedure. He proceeded to ask if was abused as a child. WHY I have anxiety depression or an eating disorder. Then had me come spend my co pay just to tell me I had tramadol in my urine whicknwas only a tiny bit. NO way they could test all that in less than a 1/4 urine. ALSO Effexor is #1 for false positive for tramadol. He was condensending. Rude. And DOES NOT HABE PATIENT CARE 1ST. ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS HIS EGO!
DO NOT GO HERE!
