Dr. Steven C. Zeiller: Tucson Orthopaedic Institute - Northwest Office

If you're feel you are in need of an orthopedic spine doctor. Dr Zieller is the physician to see. He's reluctant to perform any surgery and will guide you elsewhere if he feels you do not need a spine surgery at that time. Spine surgery can really mess you up & it has messed me up for life but every measure was taken not to have surgeries. But if it's really needed Dr Zieller, in my opinion is the Doctor you can trust. He's will explain the risks involved and you will make your opinion based on that.

I had been diagnosed with spinal stenosis while in Mexico and presented my MRI during our appointment. I was very surprised that Dr Zeiller accepted the MRI from Mexico and reviewed the findings with me. I highly recommend Dr. Zeiller. You will leave with a complete understanding of your problem and options

Dr. Zeiller was right on with the diagnosis and follow up surgery. A double laminectomy with fusion. I am back to 100%. Thank you so much!

Horrible experience with Dr. Steven Zeiller, he was completely out of line with the fat shaming comments. As a person who came in looking for a solution to my back pain after an accident, the doctor would constantly remind me about my weight and how it was my fault. I understand that I am a "big guy" but the comments he made were not needed. Not only did I not receive a solution to my problem but I was fat shamed throughout the whole visit.

Dr. Zeiller has an excellent bedside manner. Very knowledgeable and always willing to take the time to fully explain processes and procedures. He explains alternatives where alternatives are available. He conducted major low back surgery on me with excellent results. He also worked with me on other hip related issues.
I have used other surgical specialist at TOI (knees) with the same outstanding results.
I would absolutely recommend (and have on many occasions) Dr Zeiller!

I have, unfortunately, been to Tucson Orthopedic several times so I've seen a few doctors. Dr. Zeiller has been my doctor twice now. I adored him the 1st time and I adore him this time.

I have been a patient here since 2018 and have always felt like I have been part of a family. Dr Zeiller is a straightforward and compassionate Physician, and does what he says he is going to do. His integrity is rare and much appreciated. I love the staff and have recommended the Ora he Grove/La Cholla clinic because I have has multiple great experiences. Great professional office and felt like Doctor was totally available to me for questions and information.

My first time meeting this doctor and I was impressed right away. He asked me questions and then really listened to my answers. He needed more information to determine what he could do but assured me he would get it soon then get right back to me.

The mediocre review was for the following reason. I made an appointment with Dr Zeiller assuming that when I arrived for my appointment that I would be seeing the Dr. However when I arrived I was seen by his NP. The NP was very professional and seemed very knowledgeable and competent. My only issue was in making the appointment to see the doctor I should have either seen him or at least been informed ahead of time that I would be seen by his NP. Other than that I was satisfied with my visit.
