Dutch Bros Coffee reviews
20I was a Starbucks fan but I have definitely switched sides. They have WAY more options for both non coffee and coffee drinkers and they're prices are better too. My favorite thing is the vibe of the staff, it's always a fun crew no matter where I go and they're sizing is better too, their medium is a Starbuck venti and it's cheaper. Love dutch bros now and haven't been to Starbucks since my town got a Dutch.
Tried the cookie dough freeze and a Picture Perfect. No chocolate sprinkles on top of the Cookie dough. Tasted good. But when I had them fix the 2nd drink, it seemed a hassle. They didn't do the chocolate or Carmel drizzle on top. Girls seem frustrated that I was asking for it. Was afraid to have them fix the cookie dough.
I really think the crew here needs to get some customer service training. Maybe visit the Maricopa location to better understand what good customer service is! We love dutch and visit multiple throughout the valley almost daily and this the the rudest most disrespectful crew we've encountered.do better.
Always good stuff here. All Rebels I've tried (20different ones) are awesome. Now I'm moving on to coffee and so far my favorite is the Iced kicker. Every different shop I go every employee is amazingly friendly and helpful
I love the team working this morning today 4.26.
I was completely lost on what to do for a gender reveal so my husband and I went to dutch in casa grand the 2 girls that helped at first were so super excited to help us and by the time we got to the window they had the whole store in on it and so excited to help. I cried.thank you guys so much
Dutch bros is ALWAYS a pleasant experience. I’ve literally never had a bad drink there. Even with the long drive through lines they are very quick and I never have to wait for more than a few minutes to get through the line. Windmills vs.mermaids? For each to choose but the windmills never disappoint.
I enjoy Dutch Bros coffee drinks very much. Thier coffees are rich, bold and smooth. If you find the other guys coffee (you know, those guys from Seattle) a bit bitter (or some say "burnt" tasting) due to the deep roasting of their beans you will enjoy Dutch Bros.
It took me a few visits to get used to a new way of ordering and learn the menu as they have their own custom drink recipes and names for their menu items which are different than "the other guys" but once I learned a few that were to my liking I had no issues. There is no indoor seating at these locations so your voices are drive through or walk up window service. The location I frequent is ALWAYS busy but they do a very good job at order taking while you are in line at the drive thru versus having to wait until you reach a sign and speaker, do that when you reach the window you have ordered, paid and drinks have always been ready. Never have had to wait! When the drive thru is extremely busy I opt to walk up to the window which works very well too. This option cuts out the long line in the drive thru during peak hours.
There is an honorable mention menu item which I must mention. Their Peach Smoothie! Absolutely the best I have ever had. The flavor is intense & identical to biting into the freshest, most ripe peach you can imagine and so refreshing in the summer heat. A must experience!
I have been a couple of times to this location - it us super slow and you will spend 30+ minutes in line. Also no side drive away lane, if you do get your coffee before someone.you will be sitting there until they leave.
The staff are nice people which is why this isn’t a 1 star review. This location is hit or miss. I come regularly and my drink is made incorrectly or they give me the wrong drink multiple times a week. The drive through is slow compared to other Dutch Bros. The walk up window is also slow.
Always love dropping in to any location. I know it's their business model to chat up customers, but I'm one who appreciates that extra personal touch. Keep it up guys and gals, I know your job is fast but we appreciate you.
This is the second time I ordered a drink at this location and gave clear instructions how I wanted it. In 10 years going to Dutch I’ve never had the problems or been disrespected bye anyone about my drink until today I’m not happy and I will never give my money at this location again and I always buy a lot of drinks here next time tell the staff they have no right to talk down to customers when I was respectful polite and I tipped.
Sweet drinks, sweet people, however the dutch on Val Vista and Mercy has CHANGED! The teens have taken over! It must have been an employees birthday she and friends where going in and out with hats, flowers, taking pictures. That's not toooo bad, BUT, a male employee inside making drinks was wearing a tank top the thing that kept crossing my mind was hygiene, and hair! Line was long, normal.
But this Dutch, is usually one of the best! Its dropped 2 stars. Makes me sad. Hopefully when I go back, if I go back soon, things will be better
I typically like dutch bros but this one is a bit slow. Only 5-6 cars in line and i was still there 30 min and that's pretty much the norm. I usually can expect to spend 20-30 minutes there even if there isn't a long line. I usually get the Rebel drinks too but they don't mix as well sometimes and you can still see the green gradient top from the energy drink. Dutch Bros always has a lot of variety and options tho so if you want to try a lot of things definitely check it out. The people have always been nice so you'll get friendly service. Just expect a wait, line or not. Though for the large rebel still being $8 maybe i should actually just get energy drinks from the grocery store.
JUST THE TIP!
I hate! Hate! Being pressured to tip someone just for doing what is required of them. No honey you don't make below minimum wage at Dutch bros! Your not a waitress! I'm no cheapskate but I don't believe in tipping someone just because they took my order on a $7 drink! You want me to tip you for punching in my order for a $7 drink!? Wow! I can understand tipping if I was ordering 10 to 20 drinks for coworkers but no I won't tip you for my $7 drink order on 1 coffee! Ridiculous! And guess what everybody? They must of got mad because they gave me hot chocolate instead of my coffee!
Staff is always nice and friendly they are good at making sure you get in and out as quick as possible. These places are always busy but I think they do a great job making sure everyone understands and is taken care of so they don't feel left waiting.
First time at Dutch Bros, we made a quick stop on our way to Tucson for a pick me up. Very impressed with the quick service and Keto Friendly menu. The Nitro Cold Brew is delicious
Might to make Dutch Bros our new go to place!
Amazing tasty and super friendly place here at Dutch Bros! Always a favorite when we come to Arizona. Vanilla iced coffee is where we always order and it never fails. I recommend for you to bring the family if you love craft coffee. Just what we needed for a long ride to the desert back to California!
Asking for a tip in a Drive Thru is entitlement at its finest. You’re joking right? A five dollar drink order merits a tip? !? For what exactly, handing it to me?
The tipping culture in this country is out of control and I personally refuse to return to any establishment that pressures tipping, regardless of “not required” mumbled by an employee while holding a computer with tiered tipping options to my face. So while you can’t touch my debit card due to covid, you’re 100% fine letting me touch a screen that probably hundreds of people touch a day, including yourself? Hilarious.
Regarding the drink … in my opinion too sweet and a bit artificial tasting.
Good! Love the friendly talk & chats! The App doesn't always work and it gets a lot of hang ups. But the lines move REALLY fast here and the people hare at this location are AMAZING compared to the Maricopa City, Arizona!
You guys need to stop pressuring people to give you tip, there was a guy in the drive thru and eventhough I said no to him on the tip, he was still pushy. It made me felt so uncomfortable, as if he was a salesman. My husband had to give him a tip, to make him stop.
