East Valley Midwifery, Mesa AZ

I have taken way too long to write this… My experience was beyond incredible. This was my first home birth and if I could do it all over again. My first three would also have been delivered at home. The kindness, respect and genuine love you receive from EVM is how all mommas should feel during one of the most amazing times of their lives. Our appointments always felt so comfortable, we connected more and more at each one. Once delivery day arrived, I truly was a bit sad knowing that I would no longer be regularly visiting with these amazing women. The day of my daughters birth was so magical. I was amazed at how peaceful (and clean) everything remained. I wish all mommas could experience what I did. Fearless birthing surrounded by the most kind, supportive women, that put you and your babies health first. If there ever was a chance of a medical emergency, they were prepared, I never felt worried or nervous. I knew I was in the best of hands the entire pregnancy and delivery.

I absolutely love everyone at East Valley Midwifery. They provided the most caring guidance throughout my pregnancy. They always explained everything very thoroughly and gave the reasoning behind the evidence of care. I would recommend (and have) to my friends and family because I know they will be cared for in the best way, customized for their needs. I’m so thankful to have found providers who allowed me to be the decision maker through their experienced guidance. I felt so confident, comfortable and empowered during my pregnancy, delivery and post natal care. They care so much and you can feel that in every appointment. I’ll be going back to them in the future!

Crystal was my midwife. She coached me all the way up to and during birth. Unfortunately, I was unable to give birth at home, but thankfully I had Crystal who helped facilitate me being transferred to the hospital. Thanks to Crystal's network and knowledge I was able to have a healthy birth at a hospital I felt comfortable with. My baby and myself are healthy. Thank you Crystal

Crystal and her team was amazing. Throughout my prenatal care she was always available for questions and always kept me informed and never pressured me to do anything I didn’t want to do. Crystals back up midwife handled my birth who I did have the chance to meet a few times ahead of going into labor and she, Christy, was amazing. I had a beautiful home water birth. I can’t wait to share my future pregnancy with the East Valley Midwifery team.

I wanted something different for my third delivery. The hospital was annoying and too medical, I often felt walked over and my instincts ignored by staff. I wanted to be home with my family. Crystal made that dream a reality. I had great confidence in her medical knowledge and practice. I felt informed and that I was getting to take an active role in each step of my care. Each step of the way received top notch care, and was able to blissfully deliver my sweet boy at home. After the midwives left my husband asked, "Why didn't we do this for all of them? " I cannot thank Crystal enough for her attention and care. If number 4 is ever in the picture I would gladly deliver with East Valley Midwifery again!

Crystal was my Midwife for the delivery of my second son. She was great. From start to end I was happy. She was knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and like I was in the right hands. Don’t search more. She’s the one!
