Egg N' Joe (SanTan Village), Gilbert AZ

Always greeted with friendly staff. Coffee is good. Booths are little on the skinny side, but manageable. Food is good. A fave ordered is the crabacado omelet. Typical breakfast menu, common. German Pancakes are super yummy.

Good breakfast. I had the veggie skillet. They used fresh veggies. Above average chain breakfast. Canned biscuits. Good service.

We love to go there when we are in the area. Wish there was one closer to us in East Mesa. Large potions and good food.

Very good food and service. Good speed. German pancakes were light in weight and not overly sweet. Apple sausage was better than expected as well. You have a repeat customer!

Good breakfast stop! The Dungeness Crab Benedict was great and so.was the seasonal Bacon Bacon Biscuits & Gravy. Service was on point as well.

Enjoyed our visit to Egg N' Joe very much. Great service, delicious food and clean hometown diner-meet-chain breakfast restaurant type environment.

Waited 45min out on the brutal heat, then finally got seated. We then waited more than 1/2 hour to get our food. My German pancake was cold and soggy. It was more like a partially uncooked crepe. Even the dark rim that looks crispy was soggy. One of my egg yolks were broken and solidified on the plate, and were not exactly hot. I pushed the German Pancake off to the side and ordered a regular pancake. This wasn't particularly good either (although it was hot).
What surprised us was that they took my meal and new pancake off the bill, but nobody said anything. Usually if there is a problem, the manager might come by and apologize and let you know they are adjusting your bill. Or at least the waitress might say something.
Anyway, we'll go back. We've been to another Egg & Joe in Chandler and had an issue with a long wait, but the food was always good. I just thought I would try something different by ordering the German Pancake, and was very disappointed.

We are from out of town and came here for breakfast for our sons birthday and absolutely loved it! Everything was so quick and Nick the Eagles fan is the best server we have had in a long time. It was so refreshing and friendly. We will definitely be back when we are back in Gilbert!:)

I was amazed to find potato pancakes that were done so well I enjoyed eating them as an adult. Every meal I had there that week was simply amazing, do not miss this place!

My husband and I dined here on Father’s Day for brunch. We’re doing our own Valley of the Sun restaurant brunch tour and finally made it to Egg n’ Joe. The food was pretty good, our waitress, was great but there was no place to wait and the restaurant was extremely warm. Very uncomfortable. People, including myself, were fanning and dabbing sweat from the back of the neck and forehead. The establishment could use a freshening up also. The inside decor seemed quite boring. There could be more shaded areas with misters outside because a 55 minute wait is no joke in the sun! The portions for the cost was ok. The menu items were nice. I ordered a veggie scramble that could have had a little less hash browns and more veggies. We may come back around and try out the Chandler location in the future.

I had buttermilk pancakes with fresh strawberries, scrambled eggs with cheese, and some fantastic bacon.
It was a 35 min wait for a table but well worth it.

Decided to try new place came on Father's day. Was busy as to be expected but service was excellent! Food was also hot and delicious. I would recommend. Will be back when we are in this area. Thank you to staff and our waitress Michelle for being so kind and courteous and attentive.

Food is always great. Reason for the low star review is because they have their A/C turned off when the weather is 110° outside.

Loved the food! Our server was fantastic. Great options. We ate the German pancake and potato cake. Both were outstanding! Not quite five stars because no place to wait. We had about a 35 min wait and we had to stand awkwardly near the entrance. Alternative was standing outside in the heat.

Really nice menu, tasty food and great service. My wife enjoyed the German pancake. Omelet was good too though not spectacular. There are better places in the area but this is a nice/safe choice. Good kids menu too. Coffee was constantly full.

I wasnt in my seat one minute before a server arrived with ice water and ready to take my order. The Food, Service is great.
