El Antojo Poblano reviews
14Second place there, always full of customers which is a good sign, service was fast, tacos and flautas tasted great. Way cleaner and better compared to nearby mexican restaurants. It would be nice if they offered carne con Chile burros and tortas ahogadas. Coming back soon. Don't forget to try cafe de hoya.
The food is delicious traditional Mexican Cuisine. The fare is delectable! You will want to go back and sample everything!
Really good & authentic Mexican food, excellent service and very nice atmosphere. We loved the place can’t wait to try the breakfast menu.
A wonderful local joint for authentic Mexican food. If you have not tried Huaraches, I would highly recommend doing so.
We've been enjoying the food here ever since they were just a food truck and their menu has only gotten better in quality and range of options since the indoor dining opened.
The flavors of the meat and different sauces are excellent and remind me of the great food I ate when I lived in Puebla. It's rare to find high quality central Mexican food in Tucson and this place is truly a gem that we'll keep going back to.
Great lunch stop! Clean and nicely decorated and the service was very attentive and fast. Delicious food - some of the best Mexican I’ve had!
Good food and decent service. The food in general is good but it is not consistent. I've had the same dish be great one day and ok the next. Also, if you are short on time, this is not a place for a quick bite.
Delightful find among the many Mexican restaurants in the area. I want to bathe in their mole. It's so complex that the flavors flit across the tongue before you can identify. The charming server proudly proclaimed it is his grandmother's recipe. The Cemita sandwich is like a yummy version of the "Cuban. " It is delicious on its own, but I just had to keep dipping the bread in that mole sauce.
The service was good but the food was even better! The starter chips n salsa were delicious.her tacos were fantastic.and their famous pole sauce was amazing - nothing quite like it that I have tried.
Highly recommended for Mexican food - much better than anything else that we had in Tucson!
BEST Mexican food in Tucson! The huaraches are super delicious, carne asada perfectly grilled. ChocoFlan cake is to die for— creamy, not too sweet but just sweet enough. We celebrated my sister’s 83 rd birthday here & the management surprised us with a free slice of cake with candle & played Las Mañanitas on the radio for us. Made my sis teary-eyed. We also really enjoyed their holiday selection of Banda MS with norteño style traditional Christmas songs! This place feels like I’m visiting in our nana’s dining room - with the food just as tasty. Thank you for everything— we hope you are around for a long time!
Best mole sauce I've ever had! Family owned and operated and the grandma makes the mole sauce in central Mexico and ships it here. Prices and service are great as well. Mine and my husband's new favorite Mexican restaurant!
The food here was excellent. I highly recommend the chicken mole. The service was not great and the restaurant is in a tough location for parking. The beans here are amazing.
Have been here three times, but Today's was my last one! First was ok, but it seems as time goes by, this place gets ok, then bad, then terrible! Today's service was terrible, I called nicely the waitress after waiting for her to attend us (my mother 92 years old, and me) and she shouted me "WAIT! " and continue cleaning other table and disappear into the kitchen. I called another one to attend us. The food was completely un-edible. We left.
It's not a taco truck anymore (but the food is as good or better). Have to try their family secret sauce. That's all I can say.
