Cash and screened outdoor dining only.however could be argued as the best in the Valley!

My favorite is the ground beef Chimi.but everything is good - including BEST Horchata!

Staff super sweet and helpful. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. It is a cash only place so make sure to stop at the ATM before you go!

Food is very good they were very nice food was made fresh. Very impressed will definitely revisit them. They are quite a few items I would like to try. Highly recommend if you enjoy Mexican food. Very reasonable as well!

El Norteno is awesome! The food is fantastic, and the hot sauce has some kick. I love their red chile. The people that work their are always so friendly. They are busy, but fast. They only take cash, no cards.

This spot has been OPEN for at least 20 years. I haven't been there in a long time, The machaca burritos are my favorite.
The prices are still very low and food is still good.

Okay red chili beef but the carne asada is terrible. Too much tortilla not enough meat. Prices are very low so it is understandable.

My husband has been wanting to try this place out for a while now.we finally made it.he ordered the green chile burrito (he didn't care for it). I ordered the carne asada chimichanga burrito ($10.) & let me tell you it was bomb.oh & an added tip you can phone your order in, place is small & few seats

How can a business run without having a credit card/debt card machine. Just imagine how many customers walk away due to not having cash. Were primarily a cashless society and not a third world country. This place needs to catch up with the times.
I have heard this place has great food but out of principle they will not get my business.

Our opinion its the best Mexican food in Phoenix everything we've had has been really tasty and the chili sauce is very good and kinda hot which is a plus its our favorite place to eat when we want Mexican food moved four hours away but when we come to town we always go there to eat.

Delicious food, call ahead (phone situation is precarious) they don't always answer. - you can get in & out fast if you order ahead. CASH ONLY so be prepared. Best bean & cheese burrito in town.
