El Presidio Day School, Tucson AZ

My Granddaughter has gone to 3 different sites and El Presidio has been the best by far. The staff has been amazing! My granddaughter never cries anymore when I take her. Everytime I take her pick her up the staff is very kind and professional. The place is clean. I highly recommend El Presidio.

Our daughter is (almost) 3 years old and has been going here since before she was 1. We were in a crunch for finding childcare when we moved here and went with the first place we could find that had availability.best choice ever! As a parent, it can be hard to trust just anyone with your child and I couldn't ask for better caretakers for my child. They love her and treat her as their own and every morning she wakes up super excited to go to "school" because she wants to see her teachers and friends. Their communication is fabulous and are always there to help with any questions you may have.

attended this daycare for about 8 months or so.
This daycare for the majority of my experience and opinion was good.
Communication with staff was easy and simple, they were helpful and staff was kind and welcoming to us, from the start and consistently throughout.
Hours of business were general, if you happened to be running late they understood, I never had an issue.
They had a app that I enjoyed utilizing everyday.
Cameras in every classroom, with the freedom to check in on children anytime of day.
The ratio of children to each teacher was always a priority.
I do wish there was more clarity on the learning and curriculum, if any. I did receive paintings, and cute arts & crafts that was made by my son.
Staff was very serious about physical assaults and bullying between children. I never had to wonder or ask staff about why my son was marked up, had a fall, accident, bruised, bit or scratched. Staff communicated long before I picked my son up and before the end of the day. I was always made aware of changes, days daycare would be closed, holiday schedules, medical viruses (time of outbreak) etc.weeks in advance.
My son did very well while he attended, I honestly don't have any complaints. I would recommend to parents. We stopped attending here because of personal reasons. If this facility was still an option for us, I would have my son continue attending.
That's our families experience with El Presidio Daycare.

I love love love El Presidio! The staff are super cool and my son and I just love them all. Unless I were to get a new job, that I just couldn't resist, on the complete opposite side of town we will stay until he starts kindergarten! Most of the staff are bilingual and they do lots of fun activities. I appreciate you all!

My child has been attending this daycare, which is the first daycare at 1.5 years old. My kid is so comfortable, marching in every morning, ready for "school. " He's so oriented to the routines that we incorporate some at home. Deedee Crenshaw his his teacher, and he loves when we talk about it at home.

My son is a little over a year. He began attending El Presidio at about 3 months. I was a wreck as any mother would be to leave their infant with strangers. I would quickly learn that he was in the best hands! I could not be happier with the care and love my son has received at El Presidio. Every morning, my son runs for hugs from Ms. Marian an Ms. Deedee. I feel at ease knowing that my son is in the hands of knowledgeable, caring, and loving people.

I absolutely love El Presidio! I moved my 2 year old daughter from another daycare because of how safe Talisa and Amber make my daughter feel! It was not a hard decision to make when I chose to follow Talisa because of her care for my daughter. My daughter teachers Dee Dee and Lydia have done an amazing job caring for my child in the 2 year old room. All the teachers that my daughter has had since she was 4 months at El Presidio, are absolutely amazing and I can trust them all! Thank you ladies for all you do!

My son has been going to this day care since he was 2 years old, he’s now 5. I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the teachers, Bri and Isabel are my sons teachers and they are amazing! My kids look forward to school every day. I recommend this day care to all of my friends and family.

My daughter was enrolled at 2 months old and I was very hesitant to leave her with anyone, let alone a daycare, but Mirian was very experienced and very loving with my baby girl. I knew she loved her like her own. Talisa in the office was also always happy and helpful with anything I needed and made me feel like family.

I would like to share how grateful I am for El Presidio Day School, without them and their amazing staff I would not have the peace of mind I do every day my two kiddos attend.
There are several qualified educated staff working at El Presidio Day School and I appreciate all of them.
Mirian– Is my older kiddo's favorite by far, she is like his mom away from mom, has a passion for all the work she does, and is caring with kindness to her that just comes naturally.
DD – Is currently taking care of my younger kiddo in the afternoons, she has always been positive and has a friendly disposition around kids and parents. She is also extremely patient with everyone.
Rebekah – Always friendly and helpful, she also takes that extra effort to help everyone.
Stella - Is patient, caring, and respectful to all the kiddos in her care.
Gloria - Is another amazing staff member who took care of my older kiddo in the afternoons when he was in the infant room. She also has the same amazing caring qualities that make El Presidio Day School the outstanding day school it is.

Amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindset. It’s wonderful seeing my two kids get excited about going to daycare here. The teachers really try to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualized way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and I am very thankful to Isabel and Rebekah who care for my kids daily, but every single staff member deserves recognition; thank you Stella, Gloria, Bri, and major THANK YOU to Talisa. We love you guys!
