My favorite place to visit when I come to Phoenix. Excellent food and very clean during the pandemic! The kids were very pleased, even though you can't tell in this photo

Waited at the order and pickup parking for an hour. Called 3 times. Never got my food. Left hungry. Lots of people coming and going.

I went in and ordered a breakfast burrito. I ate half of it and went to the restroom. When I came back, my burrito was thrown away. I never had that happen before in my life. The place wasn't even busy enough to need to clear any tables.

The worst service ever, the location was terrible unsafe surrounding and the manager was very rude and unprofessional. Got our order wrong which we paid over $80 of food which they refused to get it right. The employees were not helpful, we were harrassed by young thugs as we were leaving. Would not recommend anyone to go to this place as they need to clean up their place and they need to send their staff to get some training. Especially management, very disappointed.

If your looking for a Mexican food chain restaurant, El Taco Tote is the place to be. Definitely check out the salsa bar. Try the salsa Tatemada if you want something spicy. We got the plate for 2 with corn tortillas, beans and rice. Order yourself a baked potato and your choice of drink.

Salsas are always on point! The food is a bit pricey but you can’t go wrong when your craving Mexican. Love the steak, nacho fries.

One of my favorit mexican restaurants. Authentic Mexican food. I am Mexican and I can tell you this restaurant has very tasty quality food. The cost is like $$ but worth it.
There is a salsa bar with about 6 different salsas to the palate.and chips!

We frequent this place at lunch. We love their adodabo tacos and probably take in a million calories eating the guacamole salsa. Yum!

Nice guy owns the place, and suggested an economical choice that would fill me up when I candidly told him that I was short on cash that day. The cashiers and cooks are experienced and friendly, and the food is fresh and satisfying. Atmosphere is not a concern in this simple but tasty Mexican diner.

My first time here definitely a Familiar restaurant great prices and fast and friendly service with lots of parking lot spaces wheel chair accecible and plenty of space for Family/friends groups.
Loved the salsa bar with mild hot fire and many other options to add to plate on your own. Food perfectly cooked on point.

This restaurant is absolutely fabulous it's now located right next to Grand Canyon University but even before that it was amazing if you like Mexican food cooked fresh right in front of you on the grill this is your place it's great for the family it's moderately priced and it's just a wonderful experience

The place has amazing food. The tacos de adobada and barbacoa are delicious. La señora adela quien nos atendió for muy amable y atenta!

Food was great, asked for extra plates and plates brought to the table where dirty filled with food residue maybe a new dishwasher and i might go again.

Everything was good, from the salsas to the shrimp and adobada tacos except the chicken tacos, it had no flavor.

Very delicious authentic Mexican food, literally reminds you of Mexico all the salsas are on point. You can see them making the tortillas in front of you! Lots of options for food. Go try it!

Delicious food you could smell as you drive in, homemade tortillas, great salsa bar that has everything for your tacos and serve your own chips station.

I highly HIGHLY recommend getting the meat by the pound. My favorite is the barbacoa. It's delicious! As of 11/2018 a family meal comes with over a pound of meat, and a container of beans and rice for each person as well as a beverage. You have a choice of corn or flour tortillas as well for 39.99.we had plenty of leftovers. The salsa are great! My favorite is are the Pico de Gallo and the avocado salsa.
