I'd been dealing with mystery eye issues and not sleeping for many weeks, due to extremely dry, red, and mucus-y (I know, gross but true) eyes. I'd been to a handful of doctors who couldn't determine the cause or provide an action plan. Within 10 minutes of meeting Dr. Bevels, she knew exactly what was going on.
She did a thorough exam and was able to explain the cause of my issues, using detailed measurements and pictures. She told me, "I'll get you to the finish line. " and I wanted to cry tears of relief.
She's kind, extremely knowledgeable, takes her time with you, educates you, and will provide a custom action plan depending on your unique needs.
I've had a Zocuzest treatment and three Miboflo treatments, which, in addition to my daily care plan, have made a tremendous difference. Yesterday, I wore contacts all day and eye makeup (!) and didn't worry about my eyes. Months ago, I didn't know if I'd ever be able to wear contacts or makeup again. I feel like a normal person! I'll keep up with my recommended eye care routine and will continue to see Dr. Bevels for maintenance.

I went in for the first time to see Dr. Bevels this past week and my eyes are already feeling some relief. I’ve been suffering from chronic dry eye disease for about 3 years. After many other doctor visits/treatments and not getting anywhere with managing pain, I decided to see Dr. Bevels. She was kind, thorough and really made me feel like I could trust her recommendations. I used to wake up about 6-8 times a night to put in eye drops and now it’s narrowed down to 2 times. I’m kicking myself for not seeing her sooner. If anyone is suffering from this disease-I beg you to do yourself a favor and see Dr. Bevels the soonest you can. I'm recently new to Arizona and I needed to find an eye doctor that specialized in dry eye testing and treatment. I did a search and found Elite Dry Eye Spa. I was able to schedule an appointment and Dr. Bevels did some very thorough testing and reviewed all the findings with me. I was doing some home care but not consistently so she put a plan in place that I've been using since November. I also had the Lipiflow treatment done and after a few weeks I can now feel the benefits! I recently had my recheck appointment and my numbers look good and my eyes feel much better. Now that I can feel the difference I'll continue to follow Dr. Bevels recommendations. Please give her a try before giving up hope as there are things you can do to get comfort and relief.

Dr. Bevels is a true gem for dry eye treatment. She's so kind and really listens to you. When I went in the first time, my eyes felt gritty and irritated and pretty much bothered me all day every day and most of the night. I'd had some other treatments that didn't really help and I was at my wits end. Dr. Bevels treated me and by my second follow up my eyes were no longer bothering me. I credit her treatment and the prescribed regimen of washing my eyes twice a day and not using drops with preservatives. Should my eyes start bothering me again, I will not hesitate to return to Dr. Bevels as I trust her implicitly. She gets my highest recommendation.
