Katrina was wonderful - I was tight & stiff after driving cross country a couple times this month. I asked for deep tissue & was not disappointed as I sometimes am with other therapists. Michele is amazing! I have a chronic back issue and pain, compressed discs, arthritis, etc that impacts my movement and daily life. I came to her in severe pain and very locked up, my movement was heavily restricted. She helped me through massage, fascia release and cupping to relieve my pain and unlock my back. Her approach and treatment helped me very quickly, way faster and more effectively than other treatments. She is both intuitive and a clear communicator, she really has an excellent approach. I have been seeing Michele at Embody Balance for over six months now. My background playing college football years ago, has left me constantly looking for new ways to feel better, get out of pain. When I met Michele, my symptoms were severe, dealing with uncontrollable muscle spasms that were extremely painful and debilitating for days at a time. I felt her empathy immediately. Together, with her direction, we committed to a game plan. After a short period thereafter, the spasms were gone, and we were able to readjust the schedule; and today, I stand without the major symptoms of debilitating spasms, feeling much stronger between sessions. I am very active with my kids coaching, daily walks, hiking, and biking with the family. Although I may never be without pain completely, I now have an immediate solution to get out of it, and a program to hold it all together. Can’t say enough good things about Michele, and her work.

I've been suffering from chronic migraines for many years and tried lots of different treatments to ease/alleviate the frequency. I love getting craniosacral massages from Michele! She is caring and gentle. I have tried many different modalities of massage and alternative therapies to help with my chronic back pain. I tore my hamstring sept 2022 and the dr I was seeing for it did some cortisone shots and PRP with electric stimulation to see if it would heal. Well it was not healing and my sister told me about a massage therapy called scar tissue release that helps the scar tissue break up and stimulates the blood to flow better. I was in so much pain there were days that I could not walk. I searched online and found Michele. I reached out to her in April 2023 and she listened to me and came up with a game plan to use cupping and scraping along with a very deep massage. We planned on 3 sessions in 3 weeks. Let me tell you Michele is AMAZING! My body feels so much better! Also she will talk to you while she is massaging you. So many won’t let you but it relaxes me to talk and it is like a shrink therapy session too! 2 birds with one stone! I have already given her number to several people. If you want an amazing massage or help with scar tissue or sinus problems send her a text or an email. She is worth every penny and I might as well say she is very reasonable!

One year prior to stepping into Michele’s craniosacral therapy session, I was in the hospital for Guillain Barre Syndrome which ultimately lead to chronic nerve damage. I wanted to find a more holistic approach to healing as my current treatment was leaving me with unfavorable side effects. After one month of sessions with Michele, I started to notice a positive shift in energy with a rapid change in healing from pain. I no longer have migraines from my harsh medications and have started running again. It’s crazy to think just one year ago I could barely walk. I would highly recommend these sessions for those who have a nerve issue or suffering from PTSD. It is life changing and I am so grateful for Michele!
