Where do I even start? !? Let’s go chronologically. I moved in during the summer and the AC didn’t work. After some time they got a guy to come out and “fix” it. I say “fix” bc a little after that water started leaking from the ceiling all over the clothes in my closet. Told the office, took a while to get maintenance for that. And even when it stoped it would happen again. Turns out the guy they got to “fix” the AC did it incorrectly and it froze over. They told me they would financially compensate considering the mess and I don’t think they ever did.
The apartment flooded. And my carpet was completely soaked. They left several fans in the room. And after myself and my parents asking and asking for them to replace the carpet (it was literally CRUNCHY CARPET at this point) they would not. Several time I saw truck loads of carpet, but they would never replace mine. This was around the time I started having seizures doctors believed it was from mold poisoning, which flooded carpet and a leaking ceiling sure seems like a possible environment for a mold problem. It was difficult to get the office preform a mold test. Eventually the building manager just stopped responding to the emails.
Imagine going 5 DAYS WO A WORKING TOLIET. Well they let me go through that. I kept visiting and calling the office to please send someone to fix it. I spent a whole therapy session trying to work up the courage to demand that I need someone to come and I need them to do it now. On the 5th day I saw a man from the apartments maintenance crew in the hall. I asked him if he could make sure it gets done. I reminded him of which apartment I was in. He went right then and it took 5 minutes for him to fix. I went 5 days and it only took 5 minutes!
The only truly good thing about this apartment is I felt safe and it’s in a great area. IFFFF you want to be on mill ave (which of course is very loud and lots of traffic, which was worth it to me. You also are right next to the fire apartment so be prepared to hear sirens 2-3 times a day) with all the bars, restaurants, shopping and events or close to ASU campus.

I contacted Zach about broken glass in the parking lot, expressing my safety concerns. He assured me that it would be cleaned up promptly, but it remained for two months before being cleaned. It's disappointing that a luxury complex would neglect such a hazard after making promises to address it. Safety and maintenance standards need improvement.

This place is not what it used to be. If you want your packages to be stolen like how my credit card was and they don’t even do anything about it then by all means live here. Random people parking at your spaces cause there is no gate and no one wants to fix it. Best of luck, never living here again:)

I have been a resident at Emerson since it was called "The Hannover" and been residing in Arizona since 2006. I can say that Emerson is by far one of the best apartments I have ever lived at and I keep renewing my lease.

Isabella "property manager" and Chad "Maintenance"
been a huge factor during my stay here!

5 stars overall! <3

If I could give them less than one star I would do that, the office stuff doesn’t treat with the resident in a formal way, some of them are rude. I have been here for almost two years and I would not recommend this place at all. It will just cost you money for nothing (No services - no security- and not even respectable behaviour)

The parking garage gate for our apartment has been open for the last 2 months. It never closes. Everyone that pays for the safe and secure parking garage is getting scammed of their money. They have not given us any notice. They do not care to fix this issue. There’s so many homeless people that are wandering around our so-called gated parking garage. On top of that, there’s so many random cars that are able to park in our paid spots that should never be there which is taking up so much space and leaves no room for the residents who are charged monthly to park.

They don’t take the trash on Saturday’s and I went to go throw my trash in the trash chute and it was locked. How is someone supposed to throw their trash away on a Saturday then? Makes absolutely no sense.

Also, don’t get fooled by the good reviews because they incentivize residents to leave good reviews in exchange for raffles. The management has been so rude and unsupportive there’s no way I’d recommend anyone to live here.

This is supposed to be our safe and secure package room that can only be accessed through a numbered code or qr code through the Luxer app. How in the world is someone able to walk in here without any code? The door is unlocked. I received a notification that my package was in there, and of course when I go in there was nothing to be found under my name. This has happened multiple times. They don’t care about the safety of our items.

Emerson apartment complex sent an email to residents saying that if they put a 5 star review, they would be entered into a raffle. This practice is shady and against FTC regulations.
