Estelle Farrell, DO - Pima Pain Center, Tucson AZ

Dr. Estelle Farrell is literally one of the most conceited, ignorant, careless, and rude doctors I've ever met in my life. She doesn't listen to you what so ever, she simply orders a laundry list of alternative diagnosis procedures, none of which are covered by typical insurance providers. She will flippantly walk out of the exam room while you are in mid-sentence, discussing NORMAL topics (did this to me on multiple occasions). She didn't say a word, she just walked out and closed the door, leaving you to think she had a death in her family, or a bathroom emergency. You sit in the room for several minutes, not sure what to do next, until you finally open the door.and apparently, your appointment is now over? This was literally the most bizarre behavior I've ever seen! To be clear, this is NOT during any sort of doctor/paitent controversy, she's seriously just that conceited and rude. I mean, is that sh*& crazy or what?

She is extremely delusional and in hindsight, I legitimately question her mental faculties.at least that would make sense! Further, she doesn't have the slightest clue about running a medical practice that uses reasonable SOP's, designed with basic common sense. EVERYTHING will be a problem here; from billing to appointments, to insurance discrepancies, to procedures, medications, prior authorizations, follow-ups, etc The staff turnover rate is about 45 days per employee.indicative of the disorganized office culture I've just described. I witnessed multiple employees voice their disgruntled concerns to patients, regularly (myself included). STAY AWAY!

This doctor is nuts. Run away to the next practice I truly recommend that you run far away. I went in to see her for pain and discuss my options. She wanted me to do mental therapy with a holistic lady one of the patients waiting said he refused and thought it seemed like voodoo after reading the pamphlet the front desk lady had gave him awhile ago. Anyway I had not even told her my issues and she was saying she had to be some place else. The staff looked as if they were unhappy. The poor front desk lady looked so stressed out she was confused and nervous. Patient waiting only had bad comments as this was my first visit. Very odd place with a decent waiting room. Doctor was talking bad about patients horrible beside manner. I felt so uncomfortable. No privacy. Patient was outside pharmacy downstairs crying after leaving this office.
With my Medicare representative I found Advance Pain and love it here!
