The gentleman was so helpful and fixed a shoe problem while I waited with no charge! I was so excited.

Just took my shoe in, the strap fell apart. They fixed it while I waited. They were fast, friendly and the stitching was perfect. I have a pair of shoes that I only wear when I dress up and they hurt my toes. I mentioned my shoes to the clerk, he told me to bring them in and they could stretch them. Wow, can't wIt to bring them in.

The owner is very helpful and provides options that can help in deciding on how much you want to spend on fixing your shoes. His store sign outside should be larger so you can see easily identify from the street.

Turned five-year old Danner boots back into brand new condition at a fraction of the cost of anywhere else (including Danner). A true craftsman who takes pride in his work. Lastly, in addition to the great work, he took the time to polish my boots up as well. I will be a lifelong customer from here on out.

Excellent workmanship and price. Replaced the soles and heals on my cowboy boots. They used Italian leather soles and cleaned and treated the boots as a courtesy. Replaced the heals on my daughter's shoes and made them look great again. The fake leather that wrapped the heals was ripped and we almost threw the shoes out. The owner said that he would glue it down for us when he replaced the heals. He did such a good job that you cannot tell that it was ever ripped. Bottom line, quality work at an affordable cost.

Amazing! That fixed my husbands zipper on his work boots, cleaned and polished them. They look brand new. The zipper looks like it wasn't even bent or damaged and there are no more scuff marks!

Very hands on and takes the time to explain what he's going to do and why. Very reasonable prices and quality work. Will definitely be back!

I took a suitcase for repair that have several seams that were coming apart. I pointed out the 4 different places. The gentleman at the front quoted me a price and said it would be a couple of days. The price seemed reasonable, and told me to come pick it up in a couple of days.

A few days later I returned. I was in a hurry, so I paid the agreed upon price and grabbed my luggage and left. However, when I later checked my bag, I noticed that only 2 of the 4 places I wanted repaired were fixed. Seems as if they didn't notice or overlooked 2 of the seams that needed repair.

I few days later I returned to the shop, spoke with the same gentleman at the front, and pointed out the areas that were not repaired. He was apologetic, and said that they would take care of it, and I should return in a day.

When I returned a few days later to pick it up, I checked the bag. The repairs were completed as expected. However, same gentleman at the front told me I owed another repair charge, roughly the same as the first charge that I already paid! I told him that I expected the first charge covered the entire repair, and that I shouldn't have to pay again. He stated that the owner sets the price, and that I would have to pay if I wanted my suitcase.

I told him how disappointed I was with this service. I pointed out the work I wanted done the first time, and it was not completed as expected.

I can accept that the work wasn't complete the first time-mistakes happen, no big deal. But when I dropped it off the 2nd time, and he said they would "take care of it", I assumed they meant they would take care of it at no cost, since I already paid for the repair the first time! I didn't have enough cash on me, so I had to head to an ATM and returned to pay the 2nd charge for work that should have been done the first time.

I really wanted to like this place. I like to support small businesses. After reading many of the reviews here, I was hopeful I found a shoe repair place that I could trust. The work that was competed seems to be of reasonable quality. But paying twice as much as I was expecting for repair, and feeling that I was misled will keep me from returning.

The girl and I have taken several pairs of shoes and boots to get repaired here and every time we are shocked at the fine quality work that has been done. I am recommending Express Shoe Repair highly. Thanks.
