Done over the phone plus online. Extra Space made recommendation for room size and price-hit it on the nose. So easy. On the day of move in, Extra Space talk us they, took us to unit. Very personable. Thank you Extra Space!

I have storage in Denver with Extra space and now in Tucson as well. These are well run facilities with great customer service. Kristin and Michelle in Denver were excellent and Devlan in Tucson was as well.

I want to just give a big shout out to Extra Space Storage for their awesome customer service and their great service for dedication to the all of the customers that rent out storages, they truly care about everyone and not one time did they ever treat me any other way than the professional service that I received from day one.

I have been renting a storage unit here for several years. Their facility is always very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and they have plenty of hand carts to make moving your belongings easier.

Storage facility is safe, orderly, and well lit. My storage space was spacious, clean and easy to access. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. They walked me through the process.

It was super easy to reserve a unit with Extra Space Storage from their website. Make sure to check their website for their videos of each unit. If you happen to choose the wrong size like I did, the staff of Extra Space can help you change that easily via a phone call. The staff themselves are pretty friendly and helpful, so don't hesitate to contact them for help and inquiries. The building was large and it has a bathroom if you need to unpack for a while. Parking wasn't too bad and my unit was clean prior to my move in. The storage provides dollies for people to use when they move into their unit. If anyone is curious, the dollies are pretty big and strong! I managed to fit about 8 or so bins (16 gallons) onto just 1 dolley.

I am extremely disappointed with Extra Space I have items missing from my storage unit.

I am a transplant from Portland, Oregon. Moving down to Arizona, My wife and I drove our 17 foot box truck with all of our house goods in it. My my plan was to get down here. Find a storage unit. Sell the 17 foot box truck and at least come out a head. I place the truck on Facebook marketplace and receive inquiries about it with a guy who wanted to buy it but it was at 330 in the afternoon. There's no way I can sell the truck without taking the stuff out so I called extra space storage and was put on the phone with Devian, told him my situation. Most importantly talking about my time crunch.and he accommoded me perfectly. Was able to take my transaction over the phone. Give me my gate codes and my unit number all before 6: 00. Pretty easy, My wife and I arrived after 6: 00 punched in the codes. Everything worked and I'm getting the money for my box truck that I'm selling. I just have to take the stuff out, so when I go up to the 9x10 unit and open the door, very quickly and frantically realize my stuff's not going to fit in here. I paniced what was I going to do my stuff that is out. I mean the guy left in the truck I just sold him now what am i going to do? While I was walking up to check out my unit. I realized that a unit that was very close to mine had the same tagging. "Ready for rent" so I open the unit up and realize this is what's going to work a 12x10. Now that was the size was going to work for me. So like any rational red blood American I start putting my stuff into the unit that was 12x10. And I barely got to fit in. It was close. But I want to make sure that extra space storage was aware of the transfer that I had just done, so I emailed what I done back to the email that I received my information from. And after 6 hours of sweating trying to pack everything in there and the franticness of what it was I going to do. I went to sleep. I didn't wake up until like 3: 00 the next day. And dog was strange that I hadn't received an email from extra space storage. Because information I sent went to a no reply email address? Well now I'm really starting a frantic so I called extra space storage back up and was again placed on the phone with Devian I told him my situation Did I transfer my stuff from one unit to another? Find out what the difference in price was going to be. Devian was super understanding and was able to look at situations first hand
from a customer perspective while still employing policies of extra space storage. I honestly believe these skills are paramount. I believe that everybody in customer service should have these skills the hybrid of both. I give a five-star rating to Devian, and extra space source. That was my experience with them. Hopefully you can have the same experience minus all the sweating and frantically trying to figure out how everything is going to fit until 10: 00 at night. Devian is my hero for today
