Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que, Tucson AZ

My first time and last time here. I got the brisket, baked beans. Mac n cheese and corn bread. Where do I start. The brisket was room temperature, the corn bread stuck inside the wrapping, Mac n cheese had whole kernel corn in it, green peppers and bright yellow processed nacho cheese. This was the worst money we've spent at a so called BBQ place. I do not recommend

John Navertte stated he was the manager after asking for a manager he was rude and not caring on my complaint and pretty much brushed me off. I will not be recommending nor going to famous Dave's any more do to his conduct toward me and my complaint.

Rib plate $18-$20- ribs were seasoned but small in size. Mac and cheese and baked beans were kid portion.

We’ve eaten at some truly amazing restaurants in many countries and came here for the first time, because the kids like eating here. Our waiter, Johnny, was absolutely one of the best we’ve had! He pays attention, he’s attentive, he’s accommodating. The fact that the food was great was a bonus! We’ll be back

The ribs were delicious however I was not a fan of the mashed potatoes. My girlfriend ordered the burnt edges and she loved them. I was disappointed to know this location doesn't offer corn on the cob which is another reason why I rated three stars. I'm willing to come back and try a different menu item.

They “cannot” make a rib tip sandwich anymore apparently something makes them incapable of putting mean on a bun? They have the meat & used to sell the sandwiches but only will sell it by the pound now? I don’t understand.

I stopped by here the other day for one of your feast platters and was impressed by the friendly and fast service from the tall guy up front. The store was short on employees that day, likely due to the holidays, but he was still very nice, kept a smile and got our order right too. You would not expect a tough looking biker guy to give you the best service ever, but he did. He was very knowledgeable in all aspects of customer service and how to run the business. That is becoming rare these days, so it's nice to see that it still exists out there! Food is great here by the way, my favorite is the chicken and cornbread.

3 people in my party ordered chicken. 10 min later, they said no chicken available as we watched them load dozens of pieces of cooked chicken onto a to go tray. They did substitute, and it was good.

The corn bread was stale.
The ribs were good, but not enough.
The BBQ chicken sandwich was great.

Definetly not the same as it was. Cold fries, rib tips hard as hell and no flavor. Only 2 people working they kept forgetting my order so i got my food in portions bad decision to go there.
Will never go back.

Burnt ends sandwich. Next time I'll order without sauce. Way too sweet. Potato salad okay, but TINY serving.

I decided to get lunch. Stopped at famous Dave's because I heard that they had good food. When I saw the price of a sandwich without a side I should have left I ordered a burnt ends sandwich for $9.78. When I got home I realized I got a fat no meat sandwich. Now I'm ordering more food from someplace else because I DON'T EAT FAT. DISGUSTING! Id like my money back Zero stars

This location is an absolute embarrassment to all the other famous Dave’s that are out there a couple of years ago, I had to throw burnt ends away because they were so disgusting and hard that I couldn’t even eat them so the day after returning from Phoenix and having my birthday dinner at the location at arrowhead, I came back to Tucson, wanting some ribs and some corn muffins when I got home, the ribs look good, but the corn muffins are old, burnt, dry, crusty, and when I called to tell the most dissatisfaction they acted as if they were surprised like they weren’t the ones that put these nasty, crusty old, burnt corn muffins into my box and sent me on my way and told me to have a good day. If I owned Famous Dave’s, I would be extremely embarrassed by this location. This famous Daves Xpress is nothing like any of the other locations. The other famous Dave’s are not Xpress they’re not rushed they take their time they care about the quality of their food and their customers I don’t know what’s wrong with this location, but it needs to be a complete re-hall and everybody inside either needs to be let go or retrain and the food needs to be done over the prices are way too hard to be selling mediocre food

Still Famous Dave's.just quicker dine in experience. Service was fast. Very clean. Location is great
