Famous Pizza & Beer - Village of Oak Creek, Sedona AZ

I'm from Phoenix and good lord we do NOT have a white pie like this. This is actually the whitestone with spinach. This is unbelievable. I'm supposed to go to bed to wake up at 4 a.m. Tomorrow to do some underground pipework at The Ridge so i should be in bed, but I'm gonna finish this pie first. Every piece. Fahgeddabbowdit

Our go to place for lunch. My girls love the pizza combo and the wings are pretty amazing also. They close later then many restaurants in town so that's a plus.

Great pizza. We usually order from a competitor a few blocks down the street but they were closed so we gave Famous Pizza a try. It's the real deal. We'll be back.

This place was great! Service was friendly, slices were big and the crust was amazing! Very crisp crust and not too saucy.

Pizza overdone - dry crust, generic condiments, dull atmosphere. Wings, no complaints. Beer selection

Return visit, not as great as I remember.

I would probably make a frozen pizza at home before returning here. The hybrid self serve setup was fine, but confusing. We just guessed what we should do. We ordered a starter, but didn't receive it till after our pizza arrived. No apology for missing it either. The pizza was REALLY greasy, like puddles of grease. For this reason, I dislike places that request the tip up front.

The Pizza by the slice was great we tried 4 diff.ones and also You get a free soda drink buying every 2 slices. Thanks to Famous P.

Really good pizza…great thin crust! We love the Greek for a change of pace. Keep in mind they seem to take the phone off the hook when they’re busy!

Food order for 2 pies and poor excuse for boneless chicken tenders was wayyyyy over priced. Ordered 2 hours ahead to ensure food would be ready, 15 minutes late. Cashier and teenage boys preparing food, making fun of customers. Ordered a chicken pizza found 4 nickel sized pieces of chicken on 3 pieces of the 8 piece pie. Will not return. Dont do it.

In the village of Oak Creek there are several options.from high end to complacent.
And then there's the local standard Famous Pizza- great selection of beer on tap.always a delight to sit down with guests and catch the latest sports on TV.
You won't be disappointed.

Pizza was okay but not great and higher priced than it should have been. Went back another night since it was nearby and they close the kitchen 15 mins before closing. Showed up 14 mins to closing and they wouldn’t budge. We knew from the previous night that they just heat up slices in the back so I was disappointed in how we were treated. The place was full of people. Guaranteed they had time to serve us but just chose not to.

The service was quick. There was a good variety of food. The food was good. We had a large order and the establishment preemptively apologized for what they thought was a delay and compensated us for it. They went above and beyond our expectations.

After paying asked me to bring my clearly identified service dog outside. When I questioned he said “I’m not forcing you but I would appreciate it”. Discrimination is never appreciated.

Had 3 different slices of pizza (outside) and was bland.

I have supported Famous Pizza since the day that it opened in the VOC. I will no longer be supporting this establishment.
They rarely deliver anymore and when they do it's 7 or 8 dollars just to place the order online with Chow Now, by the time you tip and pay for the super expensive AVERAGE pizza you are looking at $30-40 dollars for a 16" pepperoni pizza.
They used to cater to locals- now they cater to walk in tourists. The current manager is rude and sarcastic.
TREAT YOUR LOCALS BETTER! WE ARE NOT TOURISTS- WE HAVE SUPPORTED YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THE RECESSION AND DAILY SINCE DAY ONE! TAKE A PAGE OUT OF ROTTEN JOHNNYS BOOK- THEY KNOW HOW TO TREAT A LOCAL!

It's completely ridiculous for the price they charge that they slice the vegetables so thin that you can practically see through them. A large supreme in a box feels like there's nothing in it. The pizza, though, tastes very good.

Hands down the best post-ride pizza and refreshments. The pizza is amazing and there are a lot of options. The assortment of local beer on tap is the best I've found in the area.
