Filiberto's Mexican Food, Cave Creek AZ

Has to be the worst burrito I have ever had. We love Filibertos food but this morning we were in Cave Creek and stopped by their Filibertos. Ordered our regular machaca breakfast burrito. What we got was burnt eggs and maybe a teaspoon if meat.
We couldn't even eat it.
I told him it was terrible and we couldn't eat it. He smiled nodded his head and said yes. He acted like he was used to it.
Somebody needs to teach them how to cook and run a business.
Don't go, find another location to eat.

Today I made my first and LAST trip to Filiberto's. My burrito was very good. The service was a bit slow, but not bad. Here's the kicker - A 3% service fee for not paying in cash. Who pays in cash? It's the 21st century.

For fast food/mexican fast food this place is great, I love their carnitas burritos, kids typically get the rolled tacos and I have always had pleasant people working when I go!

Terrible. Doughy bread, burrito didn't taste anything. Nice drinks, barely cold. Pretty generic fast food place inside interior, but it wasn't fast. Not worth the money.

Don't Stop here! Filiberto's is adding a surcharge to Debit card transactions. This is a violation of the visa/Mastercard services agreement and Federal Law. They also apply this to credit cards, while legal in AZ, it's just poor customer relations.

Shady Experience. CHECK YOUR FOOD I order a steak Ranchero for lunch. They give me the order and because I'm at work I just park in the parking lot to eat. I own the box, no steak. ALOT of onions and bell peppers though. So I go back through the drive through. Noone else is in there so I get right to the window. I was just gonna ask if they can put the steak in a seperate container. But 3 people look at me and keep walking. I honk the horn twice and still. Finally the young lady comes to the window angry that she has dry be the one to deal with it. I ask for a refund and she immediately says OK almost like she already knew. She asks for the plate back and before she discarded I asked if she can open it. It's a steak Ranchero, no steak. She gives the refund. I get time are hard, but adding weight with onions etc and hope that someone drives off before checking until they get home to get away with it is NOT cool. This could have easily been resolved if said there was no steak or even the first saw me at the window

Should've just kept driving despite the impulse to eat a burrito, but first time having a charred black tortilla that didn't help enhance what flavor remained.

Must be having a cheese shortage. Half cheese quesadilla and and a la carte chili relleno. In most Mexican places I go to they give you too much cheese. At this place I guess the question would be. Where's the cheese? I hate wasting my money. Not worth it not even for a snack.

I love filibertos, but what I don't like is when I order a bacon breakfast burrito and I received an egg and cheese breakfast burrito with one piece of bacon the size of a stamp.not cool

This filibertos is bad service we buy burrito carne asada and we see hair from the kitchen people is bad i not buy not more i don't recommend please think about buy foot and the restaurant

Downsizing carne asada burrito is just crazy, i can't believe how small burritos are at filibertos. I've been their customer for 26 years and i just HAVE TO take my money elsewhere, size of their burrito now SHOULD NOT be more then 4 dollars. I guess Mexicans learning very quick from gringos how to be greedy. Alata la Vista Filibertos on till you start making them how they supposed to be.

I go out of my way for their wonderful breakfast burrito but if they can't open on time they won't get my money anymore.

Perfect choice for fast food Mexican restaurant. Great sausage/egg/cheese breakfast burrito, and the steak nachos are quite good. While I've definitely had better Mexican food, Filibertos is an easy choice for fast Mexican food.

Ordered 2 tacos, one beef and one chicken. The need came in a hard shell with just enough cheese and beef to stick to about 1"X1" and the beef was so dry it was inedible. The carnitas had a weird taste so it was inedible as well. The only thing that was decent was the refried beans.

One bite into my burrito and bit into a broken off toothpick. I had to request them refund my money. Disgusting. Never again will we eat here.

Good convenient location. Staff is friendly and never had any issues. Food is decent for being fast food. Location has a drive thru as well. Never had any issues with our orders which is great.

If I could give them a zero I would. We order beef tacos and The beef was burnt. When did Mexicans start serving Cajun tacos? ! The lady had the nerve to say they were supposed to be like that?
