Filiberto's Mexican Food reviews
15 The food is alright. Main concern is that for a TINY scoop of guacamole to be added to a small burrito, is an extra $2.55 just for that.
It's honestly really stupid. I understand if a small scoop is like 50 cents or a dollar, but anything over that is ridiculous.
I loved coming here and adding guacamole to my normal burrito but normally wouldn't make too much of a price difference, but this is definitely not right.
I'm not coming here if they charge me for that.
Always stop here after the gym. Food portions are large and prices reasonable for today. It's one of my go to places.
Absolutely! Here's a positive review for Filiberto's:
I love Filiberto's! The fast service, combined with the delicious Mexican food, makes it my go-to spot. The flavors are authentic, and the portions are generous. The staff is always friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Whether it's a quick lunch or a late-night craving, Filiberto's never disappoints!
As I finished placing my order in drive-thru, my daughter (who was working) texted me her order. When I got to window I asked lady if I could add another burrito. She coldly said, “Next time order at the window”. Who intentionally waits to order more at the window? Then another lady walking past tells her in Spanish, “She speaks Spanish. ” (In other words warning lady at window that I speak Spanish. Horrible customer service; very unprofessional.
They over charged me, when I called to inform them they TOOK THE PHONE OFF THE HOOK AND REFUSED TO EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE CALL! They stole from me. It's literally crimal.
The meals here are just not very good. I used to go to another Filberto's in Queen Creek and it was way much better! Now that I live close to this one I tried it and the food is just not good at all and has gotten my stomach not feeling good for like a day or two. I've tried it more then once gaving it a few chances getting something different but the result is always the same, plus the females always mess up my orders, lie about things instead of asking the manager, they'll even claim to be the manager at time and can be very rude! Very poor management here. The male workers are much better! Plus have gone 30 minutes till it said it was closing and the guy said they couldn't take my order cause it was needed for cleaning. People from Mexico need to learn how the business work here in the US. SMFH
Ordered beef enchiladas and it needs more sauce, they were pretty dry. There’s also poorly cut up raw vegetables mixed in with the meat which I thought was a little strange.
Good food and nice salsa bar. Free chips with inside dining.
I found the TV program very distracting and loud. This is a much nicer and better restaurant than the one by the VA hospital that I would never eat at again!
Even when they’ve got a line out the door, food is quickly prepared and tasty. Consistent food prep and being fairly priced keep me coming back to this location.
6 visits and each one as good as the last.
Darn, I just came here from SoCal and I’ve been missing Mexican food so bad. But this place didn’t pleasure my taste buds: (. I ordered through DoorDash (which btw, the driver was nice & accurate with delivering my order). I give slight credits to Filiberto’s for preparing my food fast. But they got my order wrong, I originally ordered 5 mini (3 carnitas & 2 carne asada tacos or either the other way around) I did not get any carne asada meat at all. All bunch of carnitas meat & they are super dry. Lucky to me, I can make a good gourmet dish with the leftover meat tomorrow lol. It seemed like they prepared the meat from this morning and just reheated them. The taste is bland.
As you can see in the picture, it doesn’t look appetizing because it isn’t at all. The shrimps from the shrimp taco were small (5 pcs) burnt and it isn’t worth the price $5.46 each or something at like that range. But it was 7/10 for me. They just didn’t follow instructions because I asked for cabbage and pico but they didn’t put it.
I’m just disappointed of how it turned out because I was looking forward to suffice my cravings but for sure there are Mexican places that are way better than Filiberto’s here in Tucson.
I hope y’all improve soon.
Food is good but the drive tree becacause ur speaker system sucks so you have to repeat the order three times if the cheap owner does not fix this I will stop coming here
Really great Mexican food. I eat here often. The burritos are around $10 but they are HUGE and totally worth the price.
Excellent chicken tacos, lots of meat and they have a great condiments bar. My favorite Mexican restaurant, great prices.
Filibertos is always closed every Monday I come the other worker on Friday tell me the girls always do that on Monday I told them they always do it on Monday always say it's closed and I go over there at the same time Friday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday but Monday is always close at a certain time
Excellent breakfast burritos and chips and salsa bar, but the cashier lady is not awesome, and very impatient with my son this morning
Thanks for the food though, your Tucson friends
