Fitness 1 Gym, Glendale AZ

The gym actually moved to a new location on the NW corner of Bell & 43rd Ave. Much larger facility but the same helpful atmosphere. People actually put weights away after use and the staff is always helpful! Rest assured, with as many BEASTS that inhabit this club, it's really accommodating for the mere mortals as well! Fitness 1 Gym is the gym for everyone who is looking to get back in shape or take it to the next level. I canceled my 2 gym membership (EOS and Planet Fitness), because Fitness 1 offers experience trainers for different training levels and goals. The equipment might be challenging to the new guy and the best part is all of the trainers are willing to give you suggestions to help you. The trainers do not pressure you to sign up for a package deal that I experienced during my time at EOS and Planet Fitness.

Mai Tushi had a good time, I make every muscle in, Mai Tushi achy and sore. So many machines to use on Mai Tushi. Make me smile. I hurt a lot, good hurt. Cowboys suck Go Sons!

Weights and equipment are outdated. I was excited to have a new, family oriented gym in the neighborhood. Unfortunately the only thing new is who owns ASU's old equipment after their remodel.

I can see this gym being part of old school lifting. I get it, I don't like corporate gyms either. The equipment is bunched up at a dangerous distance.

Overall, all smiles and if you're looking for lifting pointers or a friendly conversation, this is the place.

My favorite place to Workout and I Teach Group Fitness Classes there. Clean, Friendly, Personal Trainers, Variety of Classes and Kiddie play area. The new Location at 43rd/Bell Rd.is Ah-mazing. Power Lifting Room, too! Huge variety of Machines. First Class!

New location, much bigger, same good ol' atmosphere. Where can you go in this valley, where the "actual owner" greets you at the counter with a smile.no corporate gym "BS" here.
Awesome gym! Has that family neighborhood feel with a twist of, get serious, get down, get bizzy, get your pump on! Totally the real deal when it comes to Iron Pumping Gyms in the valley. Name Fits the gym #1

Easy 5 Stars, equipment is top notch and has variety. Just about any routine you wanted to do could easily be done here. Also has a separate room for powerlifting. Fitness 1 is filled with a lot of knowledgeable and friendly lifters

Wonderful place to train. Tons, and I mean tons of machines. Sometimes two of each so you don't have to wait. Plus a dedicated powerlifting area that has tons of power racks, deadlift platforms and high quality benches for bench pressing.

Let me start by saying thank you to everyone involved in the big movement to the new location of Fitness 1 Gym during this hot summer weekend.
Thank you Chad for your hard work and commitment to us, the members. Seeing how exhausted you were, but still grinding on. It’s not easy, but you were there. This is our community that is committed to being the best person that is willing to put in the hard work and time. This is why we push on, because we can be that person. I am proud to be at this gym. I wish they had more openings in valley, best management, best equipments, really polite guests, decent prices on memberships

Best gym I’ve been to! Staff is nice, facilities are clean, and there are plenty of weights/exercise equipment. Definitely recommend!

I come here whenever I am in town. Great gym with excellent equipment. Chad and Tom do an amazing job with the place and taking care of the staff and the customers. The trainers are very knowledgeable and you can tell they really enjoy working there.
Many of the other customers take lifting seriously and it helps motivate me to get more out of my workout.

Awesome family owned gym, old school bodybuilding feel, great equipment and even has a multipurpose (posing, classes) room! Very affordable!
