Flicko's Video Services reviews
9Untimely and unprofessional. Lacks customer service and communication. Picked up a projected that was not completed that I waited a month for. Only to have to drop it off again, wait another month, to get charged triple what I initially paid. I understand, time is money. You charge depending on the time it has to run, which I understand as well. As I also work in customer service. But, didn’t offer any sort of courtesy for the inconvenience. Everyone here seems bothered if any questions are asked. Cant recommend this place
Had them transfer 30 yo home recorded vhs. Holy cow, great service. Very customer service oriented. Professional staff. TY, TY, TY!
I took a bag of small cassettes that were over ten years old, yet contained treasured family memories and had them copied to DVDs and a flash drive. The guys at Flickos were GREAT to deal with! They understood our needs and went above and beyond, including being extremely gracious regarding MY error in the content I provided. I had priced other companies and Flickos offered the best price, plus approachable and kind customer service. I recommend Flickos strongly.
Difficult to locate entry. Great that they convert vhs and other tapes to digital format. Turnaround time is only 1 week and price is reasonable.
Cannot recommend. My husband took a large slide set in last June (2021) and finally after many, many reminders, received them this January! The excuses for delay were numerous and not particularly creative. Because the digitization of those slides came out okay, we're giving Flickos a Two instead of a One. I took in film to be converted-also long delays, but more like 3 months than 9. However, the work was carelessly delivered, in that two in four flash drives were corrupted (fortunately one of each pair was okay, so I could make files myself) and several were mislabeled, e.g. "Africa" when the film was of babies in our home. Sloppy. I had intended to take my own large slide set in to be digitized and decided to go elsewhere.
Was able to convert 32 year old 8mm films to mp4 format.
Price quoted was a slight over estimate based on length so I came in about $12 cheaper. Kevin was very helpful answering my questions.
Very pleased at the variety of media they could convert to digital. VCR, 8 mm tape, 8 mm and 16mm movies. Nice folks too. Beware they are not a store front. Located inside an office building. Second floor to left of the elevator.
I had 4 cassettes put on a san disc and it was double the price I was told. If I had known I would not have bothered.
Outstanding job on scanning three 35mm color negatives from September, 1978 photo shoot in Oak Canyon, Arizona. I will be able to make large gallery wraps of scans. The color is spectacular, service is spectacular, and the price is the best in TUCSON. GREAT JOB!
