Flooring Direct, Tucson AZ

We hired Flooring Direct to refloor our approximately 700 sqft living room with tile. The most difficult part of the job would be the curving steps into this space as you can see in the pictures. Where others said it couldn't be done or offered solutions that were not tile, Flooring Direct said they could do it. I'll admit that it was a challenge to fully conceptualize how to do it but working with Moji and our installer, Jose, I believe the results justify the effort.

The old carpet quickly came out and the initial part of the tile that was straight went in in about two days. Jose spent some time cutting and grinding to get the tiles to match the curving steps but was all finished by the following Friday.

Jose and his assistant, Gustavo, were both courteous & professional throughout the project as was Moji who came by often to check on the progress and to be sure we were satisfied with how it was coming together. All the steps from tile selection through scheduling, layout, designing transitions, grout selection and final cleanup, were all pleasant.

Would not hesitate to use them in the future and highly recommend them for your consideration.

We looked for ever to find a tile we liked to replace all the old saltio. We decided to give Flooring Direct a try. Not only did we find the perfect tile but it was on sale. They came out and measured and then we got started. It was extremely hard removing the saltio but when they went to remove the older wood floors in both bedrooms it turned out that the mastic that was used 30 years ago was much better then the newer stuff. During this process we decided to not only replace the floors but to expand one of the bedrooms. Flooring Direct not only accommodate us by waiting, but they also held onto the tile in their warehouse until we got the room expanded. It turned out that the other wood floor would be removed by the contractor instead of Flooring Direct. Not only did the good people at Flooring Direct (Moshy, Navid—-please excuse my spelling) refund the cost of removing this floor but when they came back and installed the tile in the expanded room, they remeasured what they had previously installed (several months ago) and refunded us for a revised install measurement. I thought this was a sign of integrity and honesty, as we would not have assumed there original measured estimate was off by a little, in our favor. It’s rare you’ll find a company that will go to this extra time to make sure they didn’t overcharge…. It’s unheard of. So if you not only looking at flooring because of the varied products (which by the way is fantastic), but for a company with great customer satisfaction I would recommend Flooring Direct. I would recommend using them to anyone and we will use them for any future needs.

We received wonderful service in this beautiful showroom. Navid, such a kind soul, donated carpet samples for our school children to sit on during circle time. Moji was just delightful, we are so grateful.

I called because I need wood laminate asap. The guy who answered was not helpful and didn’t seem to like his job. I hung up because they sounded so unprofessional. I’ll look elsewhere.

We found Flooring Direct through reviews and had a positive experience from the first time we walked into the store. As novices to selecting flooring and building a new house, Navid was extremely patient and helpful in explaining the pros and cons of the different flooring options we were considering. Knowing that we wanted wood floors he steered us towards engineered hardwood, which met our aesthetic and personal desires but would also be appropriate for the dry weather here in southern Arizona. When we expressed specific interest in travertine tile, he called around to all of his suppliers and found us a beautiful option that we absolutely love. He was truly committed to getting us what we wanted and ensuring we were happy. Navid was also very patient and accommodating, storing our flooring for many months, as we worked with our contractor to gain occupancy of the house so that floor installation could begin. One lesson I’d share to other newbies is consider getting tile installed first and then do your other flooring. Our wood floor was installed first and then tile. Perhaps it was just our installer, who we did have some issues with, but the tile work proved very messy and we were not happy with the impact to our new wood floors. While installation was not without some issues, Navid addressed all our concerns and even replaced some of our floorboards. We would recommend him and Flooring Direct without any reservations. The staff at the store are so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about their products. They really work hard to find what's best for your needs. The installation guy Jose is diligent and works fast to get the job done right. Would definitely recommend and use again if I have the need.

We purchased Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring for two rooms from Moji at Flooring Direct and had an excellent experience. There were a wide variety of colors and styles to choose from. Communication was very good during the ordering process. Moji came up with a great solution for our door thresholds where there was a height difference between hallway and room flooring surfaces.

I gave five stars to this company because its customer service is second to none. Since the first visit we felt appreciated, understood and assisted in finding the products we were looking for at a price that was very acceptable. On top of of that the workmanship was excellent as well as their customer relations. The outcome was a beautiful floor in our home, which I love. Kudos to all of you!

We have this installed way back 2017 and everything still looks brand new! The installation was superb and Moji and the installers were all very easy to work with. We are now thinking of having the upstairs changed to engineered wood as well and will contact them again!
