I initially I went to see Dr. Florin Gaidici as for a colonoscopy.

The good is that Dr. Gaidici seems to be knowledgeable has a good personally as well as a decent bedside manner.

Whats more is his booking and nursing staff are friendly and do their best with what they have to work with you.

The not so good is that he rarely comes close to keeping his appointments at the scheduled time. But to be fair to Dr Gaidici on this point this seems to be a common practice among medical professionals and just something as a consumer I must grudgingly accept or do without their services.

The bad is he is absolutely horrible at getting back with me on results and on returning my phone calls. His robot telephone menu system is like something from out of 1970s. It is a möbius strip nightmare. Every time I went into Dr Gaidici's “telephone menu hell” I was never able to even leave a voice mail. Though I suspected had I it probably would have been disregarded anyhow.

I bring up the issue, because shortly after the colonoscopy, there were some “bleeding issues”. So for this I went to an imagining facilities, to get an MRI, as per Dr Gaidici's instruction.

Later that night the “bleeding issue” became progressively worse.

The next morning, after calling off from one of my jobs, I contacted the office of Dr. Gaidici to see if this warranted any further concern. Initially I had made contact with one of the front end people who said that they would have Dr. Gaidici contact me. Four hours had passed by and I hadn't heard from Dr Gaidici. So I called back and each and every time I experienced the wonderful world of Dr Gaidici's “telephone menu hell”

I contacted my primary care facility and informed them of the situation. They scheduled a “Telephone Appointment” for me. Later that afternoon I was berated by a doctor, whom I have never met, there who told me “Your not my problem” (True, but his anger should not have been directed at me) and ultimately instructed me to go to the emergency room.

I went to St. Luke's emergency room (I received very good treatment here) and the attending doctor determined that it was nothing that required immediate medical attention.

The discharge papers from the emergency room said that I should follow up with Dr. Gaidici
's office (as well as the “Your not my problem” clinic).

After explaining my trip to the emergency room to the front desk person, I manged to schedule an eleven am appointment at Dr. Gaidici office.

Dr. Gaidici was, as is SOP for him, severely tardy, and had no clue about my excursion to the emergency room on the previous night.

I know this, because he said upon first seeing me“If you wanted to know the result from your colonoscopy you could have just called” Folks you just can't make this stuff up.

Once I had clued the doctor as to real reason why I was there, he never did issue an apology or explanation as to why he never got back with me that day. The only thing that I can recalled that was done that day was another appointment was scheduled to go over the MRI results.

The next appointment, his going over the MRI results were to tell me nothing abnormal came from them, and then scheduled an upper endoscopy.

I ultimately had to cancel this upper endoscopy, like the colonoscopy you need to have disrupt somebody else's life to come with you and I guess hold your hand. And there is no one available to me this time around. Believe it not just about everyone I know has a job or kids or both that they have to attend to and little time for little else.

1st: I am not a bot nor am i getting paid to write this lol!
I have been a patient of Dr. Gaidici for I believe roughly a year. Now in honesty, sure, there are times when you are waiting longer than you want/should. But- there are signs in his office that explain that this is due to him taking that extra time and care with each patient. I know everybody's experience is unique/different, but mine has been nothing but positive. I very rarely like doctors, lol, but I like Dr. F Gaidici. His communication style is always warm, honest, but non judgmental (which seems to be rare these days)
The front desk (as far as when you first walk into the office) is touch-n-go, I wont lie. There was previous staff that needed to work on their tone/communication style, but the current staff is so sweet! Theyre very welcoming and they make me feel like fam.
