The lady at the register 1 early this morning when i did my shopping was very nice and friendly and very helpful. Thank you Food City for having great people who works there. I will be back. Thanks again.
For a neighborhood market it is convenient. I have to add though you'd be better off shopping at Fry's, the prices here are not shopper friendly and inventory could use some help. The employees I encountered were friendly and polite.
I will give 5 stars once this site can improve the check out times. I've spent about 20 minutes in line, just to get transferred to another lane once. Dariela is very professional, and very fast!
The remodel they did on the store a few years ago still seems fresh. The whole corner has tried to elevate itself up a little bit and it's a good thing to see
It's close by and a definite source for Hispanic food items. I know its known for it's cheap prices and I've shopped at several all over Phoenix. The quality of their produce here is sub standard in that it is either in bad shape (rejected by other stores?) Or days/weeks away from being ripe or ready to eat. The meat and bakery selection is also super limited. Be careful in the parking lot or outside the store as this location is heavily plagued by homeless asking for money all year long.
Kind of a lower end grocer but all i needed was to receive a western union which was not working because they didn't have the employees to cover that section. Not happy with food city. Not my type of place.
Mehicano yay food candy produce meat dairy veggie fruit grain for good prices, the food City made sour cream chips are delicious and to die for with a hamburger
Smaller Food City than I am used too, but is on the way home, so convient. No deli for taco Tuesday
Its always pack you can5 go in and out always have wait in a long line and there alway only 1 cashier
It's cleaner than it use to be and they always have good sales. Just wasn't pleased today with the high price of name brand tortillas. The store brand isn't very good.
Expensive compared to other grocers. Freshness is questionable at best. People who work there are pleasant. Shop at Walmart, its cheaper and better quality. Food city kind of a dirty store in general.
Nice neighborhood market with helpful people. Go all the time. Updated isle of pharmacy type products.
Some of the food prominently displayed is already starting to rot. The check-out lines are always ridiculously long. Usually try to avoid this place but it's the only place some of the ingredients I wanted can be found easily.
I'm so glad this place is now close by but the amount of people waiting in line with the ONE cashier makes it take an hour to get through and almost not worth it
Friendly associates; nonetheless, as a previous Fry's employee, their food is lower quality for more money.
They have a lot of products cheaper then most other stores, but they could be better if they could serve some hot, ready to eat food.
I have never in my life been treated like a thief. I was followed, when checking out they said over intercome security be ready. As walking out I was followed and given dirty looks. I don't steal and I would not risk my career over that dumb stuff. I will never be back.
No customer service when it comes to the check cashing area. The area was left unattended for an excessive amount of time disregarding the numerous of pages that were made via intercom. Time management lacks severely at this particular location.
OMG I am addicted to their dulceria! Marzipan, Pulparindo (but they stopped carrying the extra hot for some reason). Good selection of bread and energy drinks. They even carry soy milk! There's a modest liquor cabinet in the front of the store, and a good sized beer section along the side.
To the person who claims there are "legions" of homeless people etc, that is simply not true. I live in the area and it's a lot less bad than most people think. Go a couple miles north and it's a different story. I go to this store alone all the time and no one has ever bothered me. The other shoppers have never acted like a threat either. Be respectful and if someone makes you uncomfortable, just don't make eye contact.
