7 Great place! Did not disappoint. But 14 miles of heavy washboard roads are not pleasant.
Make sure you have good, tires, brakes, and suspension.
It is best to plan for a long day.
Road in will rattle ya up. Area is beautiful of you can get it at a time it’s less crowded.
A 15-mile road down a mountain side. It takes an hour on the washboard surface and switch backs. Go Early! You will be driving into the sun, so Be Careful. Also, Early means fewer people. To get to the falls, you'll be doing a 2 mile or more hike. Depending on the lot you're parked in.
Not worth the drive. It takes forever unless you are evil kenieval. Really not that "amazing" of a waterfall.
It's difficult to find, it's not easy to get a pass, it's a long, rocky, rough 15 mile road down to your site. Wish I had a truck! Besides these things it's a good place to get away to for a day
The waterfall itself was very busy with people, but it was cool to see again after many years. We enjoyed the beautiful swim holes along the trail. Would definitely say to find one and find a good spot to spend the day at. Bring water shoes if you want to have a good time (: crystal clear water and little fish in the water. I wish I would have brought goggles!
Such a beautiful hike, trail is easy to follow and great for the whole family. Wonderful swimming hole at the end with great views for photos.
