Francine restaurant reviews
17 Came here for a birthday celebration and FEASTED on so much delicious food! I had the Fire & Ice cocktail, mushroom rigatoni, and ratatouille. All delicious! I can’t even pick a favorite! The ratatouille was extremely good though. I really enjoyed the service as well and the waiters are all highly knowledgeable about the menu. They were helpful and gave great recommendations!
The steak frite was a popular choice at the table and the roasted chicken had quite an impressive presentation (sorry for such a blurry picture! I rushed my pics because it smelled so good!)
Great service at the bar, atmosphere is great as well. Really enjoyed my Prime Rib sandwich! One of the few restaurants in Scottsdale that actually feels classy!
Definitely not worth the price the experience was very mid food was low okay highly doubt I’ll come here.
Do you want something light to eat? Well LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING! This is it. The atmosphere is perfect for sitting outside and people watching and their food is delectable. I ordered the tuna tartar and was extremely pleased. Hopefully you'll get, the young lady, Tayler, who suggested it. 10/10 am coming back and recommending this place.
I came here for my sisters birthday and all I can say was that it was a great experience for the both of us. We had never been to such a fancy plan but the managers and our waitress Teresa were phenomenal! They explained everything on the menu and even gave my sister a free lava cake for desert. The food was exceptional, I would highly recommend the Branzino and ratatouille!
Very very very very slow service. Been here many times before which is why we returned but it took us over an hour to get our entrees for two people (probably 25m just to get a salad). We were told that “chicken” takes time, but come on…will try other restaurants in the area next time. And the bread we were served because our entrees were taking too long we stale. Not sure what’s going on with Francine’s but this was not a good experience.
The most overpriced, average meal I have ever eaten. No bread when we started. Slow service and we were still hungry after dinner. Very poor value and just not good enough to justify the price
Absolutely LOVE the onion soup! Everything on menu is incredible! The day bartender is so attentive.
We were entertaining my daughter from SF and always are looking for another great dining experience. This was just delightful, the menu items suited my husband as well. We had a couple of seafood menu items and a meat one, everyone was delighted and Megan, our waitress was helpful, efficient, and friendly.
Our lunch experience was disappointing. Used to like this place. They have raised the menu prices significantly and the food was just so so. Certainly not high end. Service was indifferent. There are many good restaurants in Scottsdale this used to be one… no longer.
I had high hopes for our visit, but the overall experience was a bit underwhelming considering the hefty price. The ambiance was lovely, but the food leaned towards a north Italia vibe, not quite justifying the cost. My Cacio e pepe was enjoyable, yet $36 felt a tad steep. The salmon, while good, came in a smaller 6oz portion with fennel; we've had heartier and better-priced options elsewhere. Room for improvement, especially given the price point. Additionally, the lack of attention to our service contributed to the mixed experience. We found ourselves waiting for extended periods without much assistance, which detracted from the overall enjoyment. While the ambiance and some aspects of the food were noteworthy, the service could certainly use improvement. A 3-star rating reflects our balanced perspective on the visit.
My husband and I went here for dinner and had a fabulous evening. The food was exceptional and the service was fantastic. Teresa was attentive and helpful in choosing the best menu options. Would absolutely recommend Francine!
When we are looking for an amazing meal with a great atmosphere, we go to Francine. Love the onion soup and the branzino is amazing.
I really want to love this place but I give it a two star overall. The atmosphere is great with cute decor and a lovely open kitchen, which I love. The menu has a good variety of French cuisine and even a burger. My first time dining was for lunch with my husband. I ordered the Croque madame which was ok at best because the bread was so dry it was impossible to chew and my husband got the burger cooked medium but it showed up well done. We sent the burger back and it returned better but definitely not medium. We liked the atmosphere and our server was awesome so we thought we’d just try again a different day. Our daughter was visiting for the holidays and so we thought we’d take her to Francine’s for lunch and then shopping. We ordered oysters that were delicious, a chicken caesar salad, and burgers for our boys. Oysters were great like I said but the chicken was dry and the salad was only ok. Burgers were ordered medium as we did before and only one of the three turned out and the other two were dry and well done. We sent those two back and they again came back better but not medium. I suppose lesson learned, don’t order burgers here. Maybe they have a new chef? Not sure but it will be awhile before we come back. I will say the staff is very pleasant but for the price, I would warn everyone to stay away.
Unfortunately i didn’t have the greatest experience here this time around.i ordered the salmon with fennel and the fennel was so hard i couldn’t put my knife or fork through it.the salmon and the sauce lacked so much flavor that was extremely underwhelming.on top of that we waited at least 30-40 minutes for our food and our drinks took forever to come out.thank you to our waiter for comping the salmon but it will probably be a while before i am back.to pay this much for a meal and be so disappointed is well, disappointing.
Hands down the best finest dinning in Scottsdale. Consistently good. Laurent has done an amazing job with this. Bar is glam French, food is excellent. Just missing the French riviera outside the door.
Awful experience. We waited 45 mins for our salads and then another hour for our food. No one ever came over to check in in or acknowledge that he long wait. I finally had to ask. It was only then that a manager apologized because they had big parties in that night. No bread to much on, no drinks to refill, and nothing was done to make it right. I expect a high end restaurant to do more when a situation like this arises. Never again.
