Fry's, Scottsdale AZ

Lines are long. Prices are high. Bargins are not in eye sight range. Very passive aggressive in getting people to use self check. Excuse me. I dont work there and I pay the same price weather I self check or not. It is Crystal clear that the customer does not matter. The Grocery industry has a hard time attracting workers. I can see why.

They had exactly what I was looking for in stock. I got a whole case of the Mountain Dew Fruit Punch Kickstart, just wish they also had the Pineapple Orange Mango Kickstart as well.

First of all i am Native, about 6ft tall long hair, for one i have never had a racial encounter or have ever seen one, the deli is slow yes but wait and be patient like a mature adult. Im 18 even i can wait, at the same time theres older staff so let them figure things out overall the people there seem pleasant so leave em alone and go about your day instead of letting your childish emotions on a review you are not a critic so calm ya @$$ down.

Fry's is my local store I shop at and I continue to go there because I like the employees. They are good about keeping in stock the popular goods for sale. Love the clearance section by the dish soap

I choose this location for my regular shopping trips. The store is a little smaller than many, but the place has almost everything I look for. Since the COVID nonsense, some items have vanished, namely hard boiled eggs, toffee peanuts and I'm certain that there are a number of items that other people are missing. I'm a bit of a cheapskate, and Fry's carries store brand products that I always try to find when looking for items that are typically identified by their national brand names. For instance, I get 2 litre bottles of soda pop in the Kroger brand. Whereas Pepsi cola is about $3, Kroger cola is $1 and tastes every bit as good.
Update October 2023. I just made a hurried trip to the store. Unfortunately I had to go late and moments after I got inside, they started too many announcements about closing time approaching. I went through the place as fast as I could and managed to leave my wallet in the truck so that was on me. However, the store's closing time is said to be 11pm. Most places have their open hours as how late entry is permitted. There should be no pressure until a half hour after open, i.e. 11: 30 pm. Anyway, the announcements said to go to self checkout or register #8. I prefer to use the human operator so I went to the indicated lane. An unfriendly woman came to the register and refused me. I nearly pushed the cart out the door, but I went ahead and did the employees job. Of course after I got home, I realized some critical items that didn't make it to the cart. Now I have to go back tomorrow to get what I should have gotten tonight. Fry's doesn't become deserted when the last customer departs. The prices are going up and I am trying to be loyal, but with nasty treatment, I may as well go to Walmart.

I went to this location and we where looking for a specific item, an employee noticed us looking and offer his help to the point that he call his supervisor, both became concern and helpful until I found the item, these two employees went about and beyond my expectations, I will keep going to this location, just because it looks they have a great customer service orientation!

This location has an overall friendly vibe. Easy to navigate. Better than most as far as customer service and employee friendliness go

Today I took my grandmother to this location. (She's 80) one of the employees was bringing a motorized chair back inside & ran right into her! To make it worse, Tameria? (Her name started with Tam) she has very short dark hair & was working self checkout (8-30-23). She didn't care about her AT ALL instead she ignored us completely & told the guy "oh. It's fine. Don't worry about it" so then I got upset! There was NO management to be found & I even called while still in the store and of course, NO one answered! This needs to be taken care of & you need better employees working for you. This was just awful! I will keep leaving reviews until this is delt with, you should check cameras & see for yourself how bad of a job everyone did!

This Fry's is pretty cleaned and organized, and I've only had positive experiences with the employees.

The middle aged lady working the self-checkout this evening was extremely rude. Instead of being helpful, she yelled at me for taking too long when I was trying to use the Fry’s app. She had a terrible attitude and asked me if I know how a scale works because she had to fix the register to continue scanning items. I have never been talked to this way for no reason, and won’t be back. Reading other reviews, it sounds like I am not the only customer who had this poor experience yet she is still employed here. Says a lot about their lack of management, and core values.

I asked an employee if they accepted the official ID through the AZDMV app and they said yes. Then I went to self checkout and the lady declined me, and was very rude about it which I don’t appreciate because I was told yes by someone else.

Customer service counter was helpful, fast and friendly. Rented and returned my rug doctor with zero issue.

Great service! I spilled an entire bottle all over the floor when checking out. Person who helped me was SOooo kind and gracious and helpful before and despite my mess (red hair in a ponytail, didn't get her name but hope her boss reads this because she deserves kudos)!
