In early August ‘22, I called Fry’s about my 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 w 5.9 Cummins about diagnosing to fix my A/C. Mid-summer in Flagstaff is a busy time for repair shops - nevertheless Fry’s got me in within a week or so, and very considerately coordinated my appointment time with the friend who had put me onto Fry’s; she was also having work done there on her rig. The tech diagnosed the issue within an hour or so after I dropped the truck off; turned out to be the condenser was shot. They had the part in hand within an hour after that, and had me out the door by late afternoon. Same day in and out in my book is a great day at the repair shop. Even better is same day in and out with the work properly done, and fairly priced. I’ve had the vehicle back home with me in southern AZ for about a month now, and the system has worked 100% like it's supposed to. Is it needless to say.when it comes to A/C, any shop could have told me ‘it really needs the whole kit’ (including a compressor) and thus could have needlessly up-sold me by $1k at least. Fry’s was as honest and skilled a shop - and as on the ball - as any I’ve been to. You can be sure I’ve been to my share of diesel repair shops over my several decades of x-USA road tripping. All that is to say if you want good service for your vehicle get right over to Fry’s. Jason and team will be sure you are well taken care of.

Fry's automotive are honest and skilled mechanics. They have done great work on our vehicle and never try to get us to do extra or unnecessary work. They are kind and helpful and have incredible customer service.

I have never brought my truck in here, but I've called them a few times for advice and they were super friendly! If I let other people work on my truck I'd bring it here.

They are taking over where Ford failed to find the trucks problem. My 6.7 lost a hole at 82,000. They found the problem now the fix.

Jason explained all the things I needed for a long overdue 65,000 mile service.
I liked the fact that even though FIRD "recommends" certain services, the staff check everything out and dint fix what ain't broke.

I've been back for a 200,000 mile service and Jason even remembered my vehicle from the previous owner!

I make it clear I don't know much about vehicles and Jason is flat out cool in explaining the inner workings of KN Filters, transfer cases, fuel injection systems and the like.

The bill always surprises me! It's always lower than I expect (hope I dudnt just screw myself haha).

I have to admit I was super skeptical when I first brought my truck here. (03 Ford F-250 diesel) not because of any reputation they have but because of the experience I have had at other shops. Usually I perform my own repairs for this reason, HOWEVER Jason is super knowledgeable and his crew does great work. My truck was running terribly misfiring, chugging along couldn't even get out of its own way but these guys did some amazing work and in a timely manner. I love my truck once again! I am a business owner myself and this is EXACTLY how I would expect things to go. Great work Jason and crew and thank you for providing Flagstaff with a shop we can rely on. I will be a returning customer anytime my truck needs love.

Only place I bring my diesel. Price is good and work is always better. Only shop that finally diagnosed a radiator problem.

I have an old dodge sprinter with over 300,000 miles on it. I've only had one/the same person in Bend, OR work on it since owning it and was stressed when I found myself in Flagstaff having to find a mechanic. I ran into several issues (due to my van - not to Fry's) while it was in the shop, but Jason was very helpful and kind. I especially appreciated his full explanation of the situation and his honesty throughout. In the end, the Fry's team worked with me to help minimize costs, and get my van back to me as quickly as possible, while still performing a tough job well.
