Fry's Pharmacy reviews
20Got out of the hospital and called to make sure it was in stock. She said it was. I dropped off the script and was told an hour. This was at 4. The drive thru was 10 cars deep. I went inside and waited 15 min in pain bent over. Got to the window. It was stuck in the machine it something. Would be ready in 5 minutes. Waited 15. As they were closing the gates to the pharmacy inside a guy finally called me up. I ended up paying full price. I called my insurance they said I was on a discount program so I should call back. Have been calling over an hour and get hung up on.
Never have my sons prescription ready. I call every month around the same time ask if it's ready they usually say no, but say it will be ready the next day, I then confirm that it will be ready the next day, they assure me it will be. I show up to pick it up the next day or two and much to our surprise it isnt ready and nobody knew it needed to be filled. This has happened to us the last 5 months. Guess it's time to find a new pharmacy.
Trevor helped us out on our visit today and he made it the most pleasurable experience I’ve had at any pharmacy. He was beyond helpful and knowledgeable with with every aspect. They didn’t have one of the prescriptions we needed and he was very apologetic even though we know it was out of his hands.
I waited in the drive up pharmacy line for 15 minutes but the three cars in front of me never moved. Then I went inside and waited behind five people. When I finally made it to the front of the line I was told i had to wait for two hours AND they didn’t have one of my prescriptions. Who runs this place? I will never come to this pharmacy again.
I would like to give NO star. After waiting 45 minutes in the drive thru pharmacy, to be told the prescription wasnt ready when it had been submitted 28 hours prior, then I was told they didnt have it, then I was told the insurance wouldn't cover it but I could by it over the counter, I let them know I didnt know the dosage amount or milligrams (there were 3 pharmacy people at one time) and finally Greg said "mam what do you want me to do about it" after I let him know how I was very upset with how it all was handled and had waited now 1 hour to be treated with rude customer service.
The employees are nice and professional, but the wait.oy the wait! I'm not a meanie or a Karen as they say, but here's my experience with a bit of humor.
Headed to the gym.yeah!
Hmm, I'll head to the pharmacy first.
45 minutes in line.played peek a boo with a toddler.chatted with the people behind me.
Yes, I'm next!
Please have a seat, I'll call you when your prescriptions are ready.
Huh?
But, but, but, I called them in on Monday.
Now in the seating area bonding with people that were behind me. I'm pretty sure we're spending Christmas together.
Humor. I still have that.
Still waiting.but I'm going to flash my Good Rx coupon like a police detective's badge.
Ok, I gave up, I'm going home now.perhaps tomorrow?
Always helpful, nice, understanding and very knowledgeable aboit what they do which makes me feel that I can trust them with my prescriptions.
I had to switch from walgreens due to insurance and fry’s is closes pharmacy. I absolutely hate it. I’ve been in store 3x to get my medicine every time It takes forever and they don't have it i have to come back. Ive made line i drive thru 2 x i had to leave after 30 min wait and still had 3 cars in front! Im here again because im completely out of my meds and after 30 min at drive thru they still don't have it. Its been 2 weeks since i switched. Im thinking of changing to cvs even if its a lil more drive, at least it’d be just the one time driving there instead if 5 with still no meds! They need more staff and friendlier ones too!
I've been coming here for 6 years, same prescription, same amount, same everything! Only difference is it's a different issue every time on WHY I cannot pick up. This last time was awful! My husband went, due to me being at work. Told him insurance denied it. So I called my doctor the next morning had them call the pharmacy and they said it was an error on their part and it would be ready in an hour. That would make it 11am. At 3: 45pm after I got off work and had been without for my pills for 24 hours, which I need daily. They said it was NOT ready. I argued and they stated it wasn't their fault that the machine wasn't working and they didn't check it to see. So I left at the insistence of the pharmacy tech. Went home, came back 1 hour later to have the same person say just a minute and another girl came back. She threw my stuff in the bag, said here's your pills, threw them in the drawer. It was 1/10 of my prescription with no explanation and I'm out again with no phone call nothing. If I wasn't forced to go to this pharmacy I would not. You would think after 6 years, every month they could get it right. Very disappointed in the Fry's pharmacy staff
Very very tired of being told my medication is ready when its not.most of the staff is nice but there are a couple who are SO SO VERY RUDE. Stacy rolls her eyes and acts like she hates her job every single time I see her.and Ken, the floating pharmacist is very RUDE.it's time to look else where.
I have shingles and was given a 5mg pain prescription yesterday, it did nothing for the pain, i requested something else from the doctor and they sent another prescription in (same thing but 10mg.which if 5mg did nothing why would 10?) anyways I dont typically take pills, i dont like them.but when i went to get this one, the woman in the pharmacy made me feel like i was a junky.her attitude, her face.it was all of disgust and judgement.maybe its because im in pain but she should find a different line of work (I was not friendly in return, i acknowledge that) but at least im in pain, whats her excuse?
They were even so nice as to call me and tell me if i come back and destroy the 5mg in front of them, theyd give me the one the doctor sent in today (yes the doctor sent both in and were well aware of everything going on), Again making me feel like they viewed me as a junky. After this disease passes, i intend to file complaints properly.
I do like a couple of the staff members but my meds are never ready when I need them it's always some issue, time is valuable and I'm personally sick of going back and forth 3 or 4 times due to their games.the lines are always long the drive thru is a nightmare. I'm done
While I love the staff and have been a customer for years, its necessary to move my medications again. Over the past few months, I have ran out of heart medications and antidepressants. Even the Sync Program was a mess and med refills sent to the wrong doctors. They are too small for the volume of customers, meds are late, wait times are atrocious. Sorry but bye bye Frys.
Dropped off at 3 pm and said it would be an hour. Went back at 7 pm and waited in drive thru for over an hour. Got to the window and script wasn’t even filled and was told couldn’t even fill for another 15 minutes because meds were in a time lock safe. So now I’m forced to wait all over again because you dropped the ball? Nope, sorry.not getting my business. Worst pharmacy experience I’ve ever had.
The techs do a lot of lying just to appease the customer. My prescriptions have never been filled as promised!
Worst pharmacy in my 53 years by far. Always a huge line inside our drive through. Half hour wait last time in drive through. I called this morning to refill prescription, 8pm still not done. Never coming here again. I would rather pay more at Walgreens, always been reliable.
Staff are great, everything is explained throughly, meds are affordable. The wait is long, but it’s an extremely busy pharmacy. As far as people complaining about long waits in the drive-thru; get out of your car and walk in.
The wait is ridiculous every single time I come pick up my prescriptions! Need to schedule more staff maybe!
Great staff most of the time but the drive-thru/walk-in can take quite a while to get through. Not recommended for anyone in a hurry.
The pharmacists - especially Dianna, Jens, and Pam, as well as the supporting staff are very kind caring and thoughtful. They really do care about their customers. I saw where some people Complained about waiting – you have to realize that at a pharmacy there is always a wait. Everyone works together as a team there and they greet you and your family with a smile. We appreciate all of their hard work.
