Oscar has always had a wonderful experience with Fur Babies and Friends! I can feel the love for him from their messages and pictures and I can be reassured he is well taken care of while our family is not at home.

FurBabies & Friends are incredible! We booked them to take care of Sarge (He is a Germanshepard/Husky mix who is 10.5 years old) Our trip was 9 days long so we wanted Sarge to be home and enjoy his own space. Kristie came to our house and met our family and Sarge. She was so personable and answered all my questions. (Sarge loved her too) Kristie then put together a schedule of who would visit each day and what time. Fast forward to the dog sitters—the team was amazing! We had a group text that we communicated with each other throughout the week. Each visit included a walk, playtime, and feeding. I was also provided with daily updates…. Pictures, videos, and texts about how each visit went. I am so grateful for meeting Kristie and her company. I was able to truly relax and enjoy my trip because I knew Sarge was in great hands. Kristie has been amazing with teaching us how to train our golden retriever puppy! We just finished the puppy basics. It is a learning experience but Kristie has been able to put our minds at ease with a lot of things, such as resource guarding and etc. Her training theory is being respectful, consensual and holistic. Before reaching out to Kristie, we noticed there were a lot of conflicting theories online and a lot of tips were not suitable for our boy. We will certainly continue seeking guidance as he grows and will use grooming services! Kristie will provide you a lot of great tips and suggestions, we are very happy with her and highly recommend!

Kristie and team are incredible! She provides such great services and is hands on! We found FurBabies and Friends in late 2021 / early 2022 after we rescued Brownie, our Chihuahua/Cocker mix. Kristie’s training style, using positive reinforcement, was so so helpful and successful with Brownie! He had been living on the streets for some time and then fostered by a rescue organization, but still had a huge fear of people and was very aggressive towards them. To say that Kristie transformed him is an understatement! Brownie is now so much more trusting and comfortable with others. The change is remarkable!

We also have taken advantage of FurBabies & Friends’ pet sitting services. Kristie and her team are professional, caring and respect one’s home by providing such great care and love to Brownie and also our older dachshund named Spunky.

In summary, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kristie and her company for any needs you have whether training, overnights or drop-ins.

Kristie has been amazing with confidence building with my fearful dog. There was noticeable progress in just a couple sessions. It’s like having a completely different dog now! She’s also extremely patient and works with my dog when doing services like nail trims.

Love to get my Dobby done once a moth with Kristie and her team. He’s a rescue and doesn’t really lIke his nails and toes touched. But she is so good with him and he comes back with trimmed fur from his paw pads & very nicely trimmed toes. He loves his deshedding, bath and grooming too. We are so happy to find a local small business that does such an excellent job each month. She’s very responsive with scheduling as well. Give her a call for a quote for your pooch!

Kristie and her team of Fur Babies & Friends have been caring for our golden retriever Jazzy for 5 years. Jazzy Ted and I love Kristie! It is hard to describe how magical Kristie is with dogs. Our friends and neighbors and repair people are always in awe of what a loving happy dog Jazzy is. At almost 6 years she is still rambunctious and yet well mannered. Goldens are not easy to groom yet Kristie and Mike always make her a happy well groomed dog. Kristie tells me she loves jumping on the grooming table for her turn.

When Jazzy was just a year old I fell from osteoporosis and broken bones. Paramedics and Kristie were called. Paramedics said Jazzy was aggressive. Kristie bit back with there isn't an aggressive bone in that dogs body. Her mom is on the floor her Dad is out of town and her house is full of people she doesn't know.

Kristie Halverson and her team are the best of the best. I trust Kristie absolutely.

I have been with Kristie and Fur Babies & Friends for the past 6 years. Kristie did and excellent job of training me and my furball Imp (I was the more difficult one of the bunch). Through out the years, with all the ups and downs and a few sideways, Kristie and her staff have been helpful, understanding and professional. I'm so glad I found her.

We did the puppy manners course and learned so so much about dog behavior and how our actions as humans influence our puppy’s behavior. We didn’t realize some of the things we were doing before would end up becoming behavior problems in the future if we hadn’t gone thru the FurBabies and Friends training. I’m so glad we made the investment so our puppy has the basics she needs to become a well mannered, obedient dog. Highly recommend!

We've been working with Kristie since 2021. She's helped us with training and we also have Furbabies & Friends watch Skylar anytime we are out of town. Skylar LOVES Kristie and her dogs, especially Apollo! We get pictures, videos and text updates the whole time she is with Kristie. Skylar has so much fun while she's there that we say she's on her own vacation. She comes home tuckered out like she had a weekend trip to doggy Disneyland.

My dog Jack is a rescue. He was aggressive and nervous around other dogs making it very difficult to take him on walks. After attending the sessions with Kristie, I can now confidently take him on walks, and enjoy doing so, as he has become much more calm when seeing other dogs. I took the private class in addition to the regular sessions. The sessions and classes helped me learn how to properly lead my dog, and encourage good behavior. Thank you Kristie!

Awesome training! She helped me transform my fearful and insecure dog to learn how to exist in the world in a calm manner, build his confidence and trust in others besides me, and educated me on how to go about proper socialization and look for anxious signs in my dog. 10/10! If it wasn’t for Kristie i wouldn’t have the dog i have today.so grateful!

Did an intro with Kristie and her dogs. They were great with Milo. She is a true dog whisperer.

AMAZING experience with FurBabies & Friends for both the grooming of our two puppies and private training session for one of our anxious pups. While we're not local, we visit the area once-twice a year and this was the first time we brought our two puppies - and we were in search of a groomer.

We are SO glad that we found Kristie. She took fabulous care of our pups. She talked us through her whole process in real time while working on our anxious pup. We got to see both her caring process AND learn more about our fur baby. This led us to having a very educational training session with her as well.

Finally, because of her, we now know that our other pup had SEVERE matting of her fur on both her ears. We had no idea and so upset our other groomer never took care of this! We're so glad that Kristie took care of it and informed us.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We sure will be going back whenever we're in town.

Kristie and the team took great care of our cats while we were out of town. They sent updates and pictures of our kitties while we were gone. They exceeded our expectations!

Kristie and her team were so great. Our dog isn’t a fan of strangers and she totally put me at ease. They sent pictures and updates the entire time we were gone! We will definitely be back and highly recommend her services!
