Fun, trendy, fresh Mexican enchiladas and tacos. It has a very Chipotle feel both with the food and the atmosphere. It smells delicious the moment you walk in amd its mouyh-watering! Staff were very friendly. Prices are moderate. $15 lunch special is a great value! My only problem with this establishment is one that many are doing these days, they don't accept cash. Yup! Federal currency! I understand it's an inconvenience for the business to manage cash, but it's not convenient for the customer and, in my opinion, it's un-American.

I had 50/50 beef enchiladas with green sauce and all the standard toppings and it was really tasty. The lava salsa was perfectly spicy. I also got a side of jalapeno ranch dressing and that was really good on my enchiladas.

Overpriced chipotle that under delivers. Went at 1 pm on a Tuesday. The sever made it very difficult to understand for having all the ingredients in front of you. I got the enchiladas, but they were out of some of the ingredients. He asked if I wanted anything else once it came out of the oven. He then proceeded to ring me up and ultimately I was looking at getting the lunch special. I would show you that I paid $17 for two sauced street tacos but when I asked for a receipt, he handed me this half printed piece of paper. They didn’t even have my order number or a cost on it. I live just down the street, quite the let down for my first experience.

Food was filling, exciting and yummy! The 50/50 torts were so unexpectedly tasty that I highly recommend getting them during your visit. Definitely stop in and give the food a try, your taste buds will not be disappointed!

This place was amazing! I was so surprised when I went there as I was expecting standard Mexican food, however The Twist they use on their dishes is exceptional. I like to call up my new lunch time place to go. I used the word Gadzooks as being surprised, and boy, was I surprised. Holy Gadzooks

Tastey build your taco, burrito, kinda place. Good cookies and decent margaritas. Great casual dining.

It was our first time and we had a great experience. Alexis was great asking if it was our first time in which is great considering they recently opened. It wasn’t busy so I’m sure this helped but he took his time explaining the menu and options. He was really nice and provided service you don’t get often. It’ll be interesting to see if this continues when they are really busy because there were only two on staff.

The food was really good, richer and heavier than I expected. They have a corn/flower mix tortilla or straight corn. I had 3 tacos, bison, beef, and pork. Bison is definitely worth ordering. We even had cheese crisps which wasn’t on the menu. Even the cookies they had were good. My wife’s enchiladas looked great. Suprised they don’t have sides. I will try a salad next time for sure.

I actually like that they are cashless. Saves everyone time and Apple or Google pay is easy to use. They Squares loyalty system which makes it really easy to earn points. We will eat there again.

Well the food made me feel sick. They didn't have much options. Most Mexican themed places serve rice and beans. Which im in shock they don't. It's literally just enchiladas and corn bread.

Fresh food and great atmosphere! I order the chicken enchiladas, 50/50 (corn/flour tortilla) with their green sauce! Spicy cornbread is very yummy!
Also wanted to recognize Luis the assistant manager here! He really makes sure the customers here are satisfied with service and food before you leave!

Exceeds expectations for a “lunch line” type restaurant. It's fast and really good. Probably not the healthiest around, but when you are in the right mood, just do it. Jalapeno cornbread is killer and you’re missing out if you don’t add it to your dish or get it as a side.

I didn’t know it would be such a struggle to ask things about the menu. I was the only person in line trying to ask questions and was getting awful service. Mean, arrogant, and not adequate for service. Will not be coming back here again. Would rather order food from the Gadzooks in the footprint center.

Found this spot on IG. Cute place one of those build ur own plates. Good options tasty food. More veggie options would have been nice like bell peppers and lettuce. Good service, clean restaurant and restrooms.

Terrible all around. Food was over priced, service lacked, portions were small. And they don't take cash. Plenty of other places to try.

Our first (and last) visit to Gadzooks. The food was very underwhelming and expensive, but the service was worse. People working were unfriendly, impatient, and seemed generally annoyed to "serve" us. One of them even had an ear bud in one ear listening to something while "helping. " Save your money and go to many other options with better, less expensive food and superior service.

Opened April 1st. I went on a Friday night and it wasn’t busy, the service was wonderful and the staff was patient towards those who haven’t been before and thoroughly explained how the food line worked. It’s set up similarly to a Chipotle, and food made quick. The enchiladas were really good. The space is clean, ambiance is relaxing, and is located in a great area in Gilbert where there’s lot of new spots to walk around and have a good time.
