I had been searching for a new F250 for some time when I took a look at Galpin Fords inventory online. Once at the dealership my interaction with both Baldo and Dennis made me one happy customer as they were able to jump thru some hoops to make it happen.
Thanks guys

I had my Lincoln MKC in for the 35k service. All fine except the car was washed (very nice) but the inside was terrible. All floor mats had to be cleaned down-large dirty boot prints on all 4 mats plus all doors had to be cleaned of dirt and grease smudges.
I bought my MKC new at Gilpin and have all of my servicing done there-this was the first bad experience I’ve had. Must do better going forward

Galpin Ford is great, wish they told you all of your loans go to Wells Fargo, the absolute worst Bank in America. Now I am paying off and re-financing through someone else. So that was a pain. Good thing my new Bronco is comfortable and puts me in a better mood after dealing with wells fargo!

UPDATE: I had a service scheduled and their service employee Blake was very professional and understood my busy schedule also. They picked my car up from my work, did the required work, and promptly returned it. THANK YOU for the customer service that made me change my original opinion!

Worst experience with this place. Took my vehicle in to be serviced. Had an 8: 30am appointment. Never heard from them so finally called around 3; was told they were still waiting in a mechanic to look at it. Finally got a call around 5pm that they didn’t have time to look at it and needed to keep it over night. At 5pm the following day went to the dealership to get an update and they still hadn’t done anything and need it longer. I need my vehicle to get to work and this dealership doesn’t offer loaners because of “COVID”. My experience here makes me question whether to even keep the Ford or go with another truck all together. Absolutely terrible and incompetent service department.

Galpin Ford in our local Dealership here in Prescott AZ. We are devoted Ford drivers. We appreciate the quality of our vehicles and we especially appreciate our local Galpin Ford Dealership from whom we have purchased 3 new vehicles in the past 4 years. Our Sales and Service teams have always treated us as valued customers.

Not the most friendly Ford dealer. They like their mark-ups on new car pricing.
In service it seems like they want to make everything difficult. We have an issue with our new Mazda in which there is a published TSB about the issue, however they don't seem to want to follow the guidance in the TSB.

My sales experience was horrible. There seems to be a problem with the dealership relationship with Ford. Ford offered a change order modification certificate worth $2500 if I changed my order to remove constrained items. I did but the dealer was unable to get the certificate. The vehicle was delivered and After 5 months the dealer gave up trying to get me my certificate. I asked for the contact information with Ford and called them. I got the certificate in 2 days after being jerked around for 5 months. I got my $2500 credit and purchased the vehicle 2 weeks after it was delivered to the dealer. Have been a Ford fan my whole life and I really like my vehicle. But I have say this experience has put a big stain on my feelings about Ford and their dealership relationship.

I am writing a good review simply because of my interaction with Michael Galvin in the service department.

While hauling a travel trailer to go camping my ‘21 F250 7.3l started misfiring and threw a code. While away from home i needed to have this checked out as soon as possible before I attempted to haul my rig back home. After calling 4 different dealerships in a 100 mile radius, Michael was the only service rep to show any interest in the issue and took care to help me out. I would travel back to this service department just to deal with a quality service rep like Michael again.

I really didn't want to return to Galpin for service on my truck due to the miserable buying experience I had with them, but I had Ford points to use so I decided to bite the bullet. Cody in the service dept was the nicest person I've ever dealt with at Galpin. He answered my questions and treated me respectfully. AND my truck was ready in less time than Cody estimated.

I scheduled an oil change. I was told that the wait would be a max of an hour and a half both on the phone when I scheduled and also when I arrived. It took 2 hours. I ended up having to cancel an appointment that I had made because I was not able to make it.

On top of that, they wrote down that they did “the works” including tire rotation and inspection. All I had scheduled was an oil change. I was confused how they could say that they did a tire rotation as they didn’t have access to the tire lock key for my vehicle. When I questioned them about this, the gentleman replied that it’s just how their computer system puts it in. Yeah. Sure.

He did give me a $13 discount for the wait, but then they charged me $35 dollars for parts (not including the oil which was a separate charge). What parts were used? No mention of any new parts were made to me.

All in all, $68 for an oil change. Don’t go here. They don’t explain what they do, they don’t actually care to offer proper service, and they overcharge.

We used to go to Ford all of the time, but it has deteriorated and now I avoid them at all costs. The only reason I went this time is because the usual mechanic I go to is sick and had to close his business, but my car needed an oil change. Suffice to say, we will find a new mechanic and, barring any recall parts needing replaced on my vehicle, I will never go back.

I heard bad things about this dealership but I took my truck there to find out on my own. They did the maintence I asked them to do and it was done quickly. I had an issue with a trailer, controller and they diagnosed the problem and and advised that it was covered under my extended warranty

Well, I guess I would need to compare this service with the service I received at my previous car’s dealership. I easily gave Lamb Nissan five stars 20 times in a row. At Galpin, not so much. I paid almost twice as much at Galpin for an oil change. I know for sure that the air in my tires was never checked (as I requested). And I’m quite confident that my wheels were never rotated, though the invoice says they were. (I have lock nuts on the wheels, and the key for them was not disturbed.) Finally, unlike at Lamb, no free car wash. Overall, I would give Galpin a ‘Blah’ on their service.
! I’m doubling my rating. Loel got in touch with me and was most gracious. He took immediate action on my concern, and was quite adamant that the experience I had initially was not reflective of their dealership. I will definitely return for future service and I hope I’ll be able to give them five stars. In fact, I’m confident that my first service was a one-off.

I say 4 stars here because while they do good work, they struggle in the area of good communication.

Seems to me that a rather important part of any service role would be consistent and frequent updates to the customer. When you drop off a vehicle to be repaired, you of course have to work you life around it, so you get anxious about when it will be done. This is where Galpin loses a star from me. I’ve had my vehicle in for service on 2 or 3 occasions and the service is always really stellar, but I’ve had to call repeatedly for information and updates often getting incorrect timeframe estimates and leaving voicemails that never get returned. I’d love to change this to a 5-star rating at my next service appointment.

Was happy with my service this time. Oil change, tire rotation. My last time my air filter was left open and didn’t see it until after my trip to Utah & back (1200 miles). I had to buy a new air filter. It took more than a year to trust your service again.

Also I’m trying to get my spare key fixed which broke off Looks like it’s going to cost $250 or more to do.

Ive bought two cars now from them and it’s always been a great experience. Baldo was very knowledgeable and made the process as easy as possible. I look forward to getting my vehicles and accessories from Galpin for years to come.
