I bought 2 cars from Baldo in the last year and have used the service department twice. I will definitely be back, outstanding service.

Check out the new Miata aka MX-5! Neat little ride and a ton of fun! The CX-90 is here! My picture shows it in Artisan Red. It's an inline 6 and luxurious.:)

Galpin Mazda gets a big thumbs up.

My sister's Mazda is a 2016 CX-5 non-turb and recently experienced the stalling on the highway with 1/4 tank of gas. P0192 was the single code that showed up. Putting some gas in it seems to make it run a bit better but far from perfect. I agree with the logic that it points to the low pressure in-tank fuel pump when adding more gas seems to make it behave a little better. The plan is to visit the Mazda/Ford dealership in Prescott in the morning and see how they handle it.

Got the car back yesterday.they diagnosed it as a bad High Pressure fuel pump and replaced it. Much to my surprise that got rid of the P0192 and the car runs like a champ now. I figured that it would be the low pressure in-tank fuel pump but apparently did not work this way this time. Here's what the bill looked like.my sister smartly opted for the extended 100,000mile/7year zero deductible warranty so zero cost to her.til this upcoming October This is the first real issue with the CX-5 in 7 years.hopefully the last.
We were actually pleased with the fast service/accurate diagnosis of Galpin Mazda of Prescott

This dealership and its co-owned Ford neighbor repeatedly lose telephone service, making service scheduling impossible. The website lacks service scheduling, something many dealerships now consider essential as well as being an efficient business practice. Wake up, Galpin.

I walked the lot here for 15 minutes or so, thinking I would be approached by a salesman. I didnt see anyone. I wasnt even sure anyone was there, so I called and let them know I was there and was interested in looking at a car. The lady that answered the phone was short and kind of rude. She transferred me to a salesman who I told about wanting to view the car. He seemed friendly enough and said he would send someone out to help me. 15 minutes after that and I still didnt see anyone. No one ever came out or even walked by.

It just seems a bit rude to leave a customer standing in the lot wondering where everyone is, especially after I called and told them where I was. Not the kind of professionalism I would expect from a ford dealership. It put me off of even wanting to buy a ford or Mazda as this is the dealership I would be dealing with for maintenance and the like. Very disappointed and wouldn't go back.

Terrible customer service in the service department that will tell you one thing and then change their minds. This dealership service department is very much about the bottom line and doing the minimal to keep customers off their backs. I had a bad experience getting new brakes at this location not many months ago. I was quoted a price that was firm through a certain date, assured it would still be a valid quote when I brought my vehicle back at a later time (but within the quoted date range), and then instead I was told a total about $150 over that original quote when I did come back. I spoke up and they gave me my original quoted price, but they tried to pull something first. I decided to let that incident slide and move on with my life. But I am recently now experiencing more shady behavior from this dealership's service department that needs to be aired.

I have a tire warranty on 4 tires purchased brand new (because of the warranty promotion they were having) from a Mazda dealership elsewhere, but that is supposed to be honored at all Mazda dealerships in the Nation. During the aforementioned brake issue, I expressed to them concern that my tires were having trouble maintaining air pressure and asked them to please take a look. I brought the warranty paperwork I had in with me, so that it could be "scanned into my customer file" and, important note, it was still WITHIN warranty coverage time period. They assured me nothing was wrong and all was well, aired them back up, and sent me on my way. A few days later, air pressure issues again but I decided to take them at their word, that it was just the altitude and my car adapting to the new environment. Fast forward a number of months later, and one of my rear tires is flat and the tread is peeling. I phoned Galpin, stressed and worried, but not very panicked because I knew I had a warranty.

Galpin first argued with me that they couldn't see me or my car with a flat until 3 days from when I originally called and that they would need to look at my warranty paperwork before starting to explore options. I had brought it prior to be scanned, which I guess they didn't do. I had to push and practically beg for help sooner so they acquiesced to seeing it the following morning. They took a look at my tire, said it was a defect, then proceeded to say my warranty doesn't cover "road hazards and defects. " as the "road hazard" coverage ended two months ago. What? What kind of company doesn't cover an actual defect in a tire? Even if it is two months out of warranty, it's a DEFECT. I didn't hit anything or run anything over, the tread is peeling from my tire through no fault of my own. I call my original dealership so they got involved, and Galpin told them it was a nail or an object that slashed my tire sidewall. So which is it? A defect in tread peeling, or a road hazard like a nail or cutting object? I was told they couldn't help me because the warranty expired two months ago, so it would be $205 for a new tire, mounting and rotating. I have a Mazda 2 that takes 185/55R15s. $205? ! The tire itself is $60-$80 elsewhere. Yet, the "lowest they can do" is "approximately $100 for the tire. "

I virtually never write negative reviews but this needed to be done to warn anyone else considering tire and warranty purchases from this dealership if they have a promotion. I was denied a loaner vehicle, have paid almost $100 for a rental from my own pocket to get to and from work, and had to practically beg to be seen sooner with such an urgent problem. I am taking my car somewhere else, where trustworthy people that care about customer safety are willing to help.
