GameStop, Avondale AZ

This place gets zero stars. I ordered a PlayStation plus membership online. I put the order in then a few hours later I got a email saying it was canceled. I did not even get a reason to why. So I call the 800 number. I have been waiting to speak with a rep for over 2 and a half hours as we speak. Please people do not do business with this company online. You will regret waiting long enough to watch a Star Wars Movie if a problem occurs which is most likely to happen again. SMH

“Call us and we will come out” (10 years later they still don’t answer their phones. This place is the worst.

I used to avoid this game stop because the staff was moody and it was always hot inside, but I noticed a positive change in staff recently, and it's not hot in here anymore. Also they always have good stock here and I can almost always find what I'm looking for here

Emily and Miles were both so incredibly helpful! Very kind to me and my fiance. Answered several of my questions about games that I was buying! Both should be recognized for how awesome they were

First time ever buying anything from these f'ers, they sold me a broken ps3 controller for 30 bucks!

This game stop is little crowded but awesome employee who helped me was awsome don't remember name but had red long hair.said I was looking for a game to take up time told me to check out persona5 so far looks to be a good game to kill time

I ordered a ninetindo switch online and was suppose to pick it up at this location. Within a half hour of ordering it, the order was canceled.
I called gamestop customer service where I was placed on hold for over an hour, the customer service agent contacted the pick up location I selected to find out why the order was canceled. They gave him no clear reason why, I attempted to contact the store on my own and received a recording that the store was having technically difficulties and had to wait 24 hours for my refund in order to repurchase the item somewhere else. Gamestop customer service is terrible with outrageous hold times. I will no longer use the gamestop online website for transactions.

The guy who was there was friendly and we talked about the games I was getting he made the whole trip way better

Had a great interacion with Joe. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to point me towards a gaming console that fit my needs, not what he was comfortable with. We spoke for about 45 minutes and although there were other customers in the store, I never felt like I was a bother or that I was impacting him making other sales.

This company is a joke. Pre ordered mortal combat 11 and was supposed to get my pre order bonus. When I went into the store to confirm my preorder the cashier didn’t even know that there was a bonus. He didn’t tell me I had to come to the store. He only told me that since I preordered it I will get it. Well I went to pick it up the day it released and was told “ oh we only had a limited amount. Sorry. ” And told it was not their problem. I called corporate and was treated very rudely and even got hung up on. So there’s that. Save your money and buy from Amazon.

Good selection of new and used video games accessories to choose from. They also buy and sell used game systems, accessories and games.

This place has the worst customer service ever. Returned unopened merchandise with a receipt within the store policy timeframe and was treated like garbage. I recommend going to other online options for your games

I love shopping at any of the gamestop's for any of my gaming needs. Any of the staff I've spoke with seem to be awesome as well.

Don't Preorder anything from this store. They will sell it out of under you, never meet their preorder timeline for Pops and give you a hard time and not try to solve the situation when they mess up and sell your preorder.

I went in wanting to buy Battlefield V for $30.00. I found the game at this location for the full price of $60.00. I walked up to the girl at the counter and asked her if that was the real price and she said "Yup". I said "have a nice day, good luck selling Battlefield V at full price when everyone else is selling it for $30.00". I went to my car and pulled up walmart. Walmart and literally every other retailer has it for $30.00. I walked back in the store to see if they would price match. The overweight gentleman behind the counter informed me that they don't price match with their competition. I asked "who else would you price match with? " He stood firm on his terrible price. I said "good luck selling this liberal propaganda anyway". He proceeded to call me "trash" as I was leaving to spend my money elsewhere.which is what I recommend you all do. This Gamestop is ripping people off.

Long story short
1.50% higher prices than all of their competition 2. I was berated by their unfriendly staff and called "trash"
