George's Famous Gyros & Pasta, Phoenix AZ

I've just discovered George's (definitely my bad) and I already know I'll be a regular. Excellent in every way. I'll post more later as I try everything on the menu.

Food is always A+
Owner is cool and down to earth, and loves his restaurant and it shows.

I love George's Gyros. I have followed them through 3 Gyro shops. And continue to go since 2007 and I tell everyone I know in the valley to go there. They more options then just gyros

My favorite place for Gyros in Phoenix! Their taziki sauce is AMAZING! Food always tastes fresh and the gryo meat is never dry like so many other places. Customer service is excellent - instead of taking my order back when they brought the wrong side, they just brought me the correct side order so I essentially got two sides for the price of 1! Highly recommend this place if you're north of the city!

It's a little dry and I don't like how thin they cut The meat slices but really good flavors. I'll definitely come back.

So yummy and I love supporting a family run business! George is even a softie for the homeless cats around there and gets them fixed and keeps their bellies full!

Love this place. It's a bit of a drive and the hours can be a challenge for me, but the food is so good. Best chicken alfredo I have ever had. Worth it.

I love this place. Been coming here for lunch for almost 6 years and the food is always great, George is so nice, and you get your food fast.

This is one of the best Greek restaurants or Mediterranean food restaurants I've ever eaten at. If you like spicy try a gyro picado. I would have given a 6 stars rating but that was an option!

When the food is great and Hodor meets you at the door you know it's the place to go for lunch or dinner. It will definitely show that you can also eat and know things

Might be my favorite place for take out. Super friendly people. Very clean establishment which is appreciated. Food is top quality and extremely well priced. I encourage you to try the chicken parmigiana plate.

When I left work today, I drove to George's Famous Gyros & Pasta expecting to find an everyday run of mill Chipotle in the plaza (cause this what is was looking for) completely unaware that right across the street from my work was the most AMAZING GYRO OF MY LIFE! To claim that your restaurant is Famous is saying a lot and now I can poudly acclaim that these are in fact famous! I think it is unjust for the good people of this city to never have experienced this amazing food. High quality ingredients LARGE portions and a salad that was unreal (obviously the dressing) please do yourself a favor and indulge yourself in some gyros you won't be disappointed.

First time visit. This was the best gyro I have had! The staff was friendly and the place had a great atmosphere. I'll be back again.

Great food! This is a must visit place for us every time we are in town. The pasta is really good. The italian sandwich is also very good. Super nice staff.

I could eat here everyday. The customer service is the best in town. And the cherry on top is the food. The gyro sandwhich is to die for. I have been to numerous gyro shops in arizona and none have been as generous and good tasting as this one.

I absolutely love that place I just ate here for the first time and I will be back! I had the Greek salad with a generous portion of gyro meat and it was amazing. The staff were so friendly and absolutely made me feel like part of a family. I will tell everyone about this place.:) And thanks for taking VCA.

Extensive menu. Tasty food, good portions at reasonable price, friendly ambiance under an authentic Greek ownership. Put it all together and one ends up wirh a 5 star package!

The best gyros are here! The selection is varied, but I always choose the original. George's also has the best fries ever. You'll leave satisfied and probably have some food to take home.
