I have used the Chandler location twice before, and got great service, from ALL staff/departments.
I moved to PHX, and needed work to be done so Farmers once again recommend that I use Gerber.
The problem was I called twice and left messages the person answering the phone for a call back from the person who does checks out the damage, this person was to call me after he returned from lunch, that never happened, so I called back and got the same great guy, who said the adjuster was out to lunch and would give me a call once again by the end of business day being 2/18/2021, that never happened, so I gave them another try on the morning of 2/19/21, only to be told the man was busy and that he would call me back. The man on the phone said " I was the one who spoke to you yesterday, and I gave him the message, he got busy and I am sorry he never got back to you".
I was then told he was doing a claim and would call back. I shared my disappointment, the the man said I see him walking into the office, let me get him. I waited, and had to get into our work elevator, and the call was dropped and I did not get a call back from your company.
Poor customers, not a way to treat past happy customers, I wont be back, and I sure wont' recommend Gerber's in the future.

Both of our vans were damaged in the last bad storm that hit Phoenix in August. Excellent customer service. They communicated everything to us professionally and timely as well as worked closely with our insurance company to where I had no worries or headaches. I recommend Gerber to anyone who has glass and auto body repair needs. My baby looks brand new again! Thank you Gerber.

Michael was extremely helpful and above all courteous and professional! He also assisted in finding a trim piece for my jeep that wasn't even part of the original repair. 5 star all the way!

The manager is amazingly helpful & made the repair process so easy. The work was great & the team made it almost like it never happened! Highly recommend!

Estimator wrote a bad estimate for my insurance claim. They left alot of things out that I even pointed out to them. Not sure if it was intentional since I was making the repairs my self or if the estimator just doesnt have that much experience. Insurance still used the bad estimate even after I pointed out all the left out items on the estimate from gerber, even got estimates from other shops that were accurate and proved that they were leaving parts out

To be fair, I am unsure of the quality of service for this location once they work on a vehicle. I was going to submit an insurance claim. My car was a new model. They told me that it would take them a while to give me a quote because the part might not be available yet. There was miscommunication with my insurance agent. I never got a quote. I decided to go to a different body shop. I got a quote the next day.

Untimely and unprofessional.

Gerber called myself and the insurance company indicating the vehicles repairs would be complete that morning. I made arrangements to leave work early and return my rental vehicle. I called Gerber prior to leaving work to confirm the vehicle was ready for pickup, and was assured yes, the vehicle was ready and was out front waiting.

After I returned the rental, Gerber called indicating the repairs were in fact not complete and that they needed additional time. Leaving me without a vehicle and with an approximation of "when our guys get back. "

1-2 weeks after the repairs were completed. I received a voicemail that I must pay Gerber immediately or they would send me to collections at the end of the week.

The work was done through the at-fault party's insurance and the insurance carrier was to pay Gerber directly for the repairs. Rather than contacting the insurance company regarding the missing payment. Gerber thought it prudent to immediately leave a voicemail for myself, threatening to send me to collections.

If this sounds enjoyable to you. Then you've found the right repair shop!

This pos body shop can't even secure a payment from a 3rd party. Now I'm stuck with a $1300 collection bill.

These people are the best! They really know their craft. So professional and curious. My Buick Enclave never looked so good. They even cleaned up a few scratches and shined up my tires. There is absolutely no sign of any damage. You want your vehicle to look brand new? Than take it to Gerber Collision in Tempe on W University! Thanks so much for getting my Buick back to me so fast! Three days! Amazing!

I cannot speak highly enough about this repair shop. Stellar customer service, way above par! The repair was finished early, I was kept informed the entire time, one of their employees drove me home after I dropped the car off, and they drove it to me when it was finished so I didn't have to go out of my way. AND the whole process, drop off to pick up was 7 days. I can't speak highly enough a out this place, I have already recommended it to many of my friends and family, and will continue to use Gerber for any future collision repair I need in the future.

Thanks so much guys, truly a stellar company and group of gentlemen.

I’ve never been in an accident before, I’ve heard horror stories of how I would be treated. Mo was my tech and he was AMAZING! They communicated with me every step of the way! They sent me details of everything that they did and also walked me through everything when I picked it up! Everything they replace/repaired is covered for ever. Ended up with almost $8,000 worth of damage to the front and under the hood! This Jeep is my baby and I cried when I saw the damage. Great team and amazing work! Thanks again everyone!
