Gilbert Black Bear Diner

I enjoyed my meal here as I usually do at Black Bear Diners. And as usual, I stumbled into this location not looking for a Black Bear, but slammed the brakes and turned in!

We don't plan bad surprises, so how would you plan a Good one?

Great experience from the front door, greeter was very nice.
The waitress made great suggestions and was really patient.

Breakfast is a must here if you haven’t been, the pancakes are unbelievably good, love the little shop they have there with the bear collections and the little statue likes outside would definitely recommend this place!

Perfectly cooked and prepared. Great homestyle meals and atmosphere. Awesome and friendly staff. Very good experience took our mother for her 72 Birthday. Robert and Sanisha took good care of all 7 of us. Will definitely be back!

Never a bad time there. Always good food and great service. Great place to take family from out of town.

Great food, the service was fabulous, Sal was our server, Super good server! Very busy place for breakfast, expect to wait! A bit pricey but very good food!

Amazing amounts of amazing food for a reasonable price. The server was so efficient & as cute as can be. This was about our 7th or 8th visit and it's always above and beyond what you expect.

Really amazing bear claws, as you'd expect from the name. The rest of the food is a high quality diner. If it's a busy time though you may experience a rushed result from the kitchen, but the staff is always willing to make it right. Overall a great no frills breakfast joint.

Took forever to have server even come to table. She never refilled my drink. 35 mins finally recieved food and my burger was not cooked. Took another 20 mins for food to come back and it was the same burger but now over cooked and dry.

Best friend chicken dinner around. Crispy 1/2 of a chicken + 2 sides, soup or salad, cornbread muffin. Enough to share! Service is friendly but a bit slow.

Excellent breakfast selection and fast service. Good place if you want to have comfort food without all the bells and whistles of trendier place.

The food was fairly good, but came in large portions. The service was very good and fairly quick for how busy they were.

It was ok. I guess it wasn't my thing. I've had better food and I want impressed. I won't bother coming back. There are better diners with better food.

Really enjoy eating at black bear, Jessica takes good care of us. It is like eating a home cooked meal.

I have been going to Black Bear Diner for over 6 years. The food is delicious however, the main reason that I come is the customer service! Over the years I have been treated with respect and people who go above and beyond! Especially Brittany and Heather who are by far the two best waitresses. They truly are amazing. I have watched the improvement since Erin has been the manager, the cohesiveness of the team makes for such a pleasant experience. Going to this restaurant is like visiting a family, everyone is awesome!

For starters I had to wash my own silverware after having three sets of dirty sticky utensils given to us to use. Food undercooked or burnt. New York steak had fat throughout the middle barley any meat. Walked out after talk with manager who said we didn't have to pay because the experience was so horrible. Upon leaving we see two kitchen workers talking about new tattoo one of them has. It is exposed and slathered with goo on his arm. Six black bear kitchen workers covered in dirt smoking in parking lot messing around. We haven't been able to eat since this morning because our stomachs are still upset.

Awesome Experience. Had Breakfast with a friend. Great place to impress that first breakfast date. Thanks to Black Bear, I got a second date. Woot! Woot!
