Gils is a gem! Love this place. Make sure to call for reservations, especially on Monday nights.
Excellent food served by quality folks. One of the best meals I’ve had in Phoenix. Wish I’d had space in the belly to try their sopaipilla
Quaint Mexican dive with odd hours, closed on the weekends and split open hours during the week as they are closed from 2-5pm. The food was good, staying with traditional New Mexico style of cooking, not your typical enchilada sauce here as to green or red sauce or salsa verde and salsa rojo. Try the christmas tree style burrito or chile relleno, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Googled their hours. Went 20 minutes out of my way to try them. They were closed at 1 pm. Very dissapointing. I'm from California, so I won't give them a second chance
The food is amazing a small family owned restaurant everything is nice and clean the owner is so nice waiters are nice
Ordered a chile relleno, cheese enchiladas and chips & queso over the phone for takeout. Everything was super flavorful! Highly recommend the chunkier green salsa!
