Gina Botello, N.P., Yuma AZ

Gina Botello, N. P is one of my favorite medical practitioner by far! She actively listens with empathy and offers various solutions to my needs. I am truly lucky to have found her when I moved to AZ.

Very upset we (my daughter) had to wait 3 months to try to see someone for help. I understand they are booked and busy. But we asked for therapy sessions. Our appointment date came. And we were assigned to Botello. I specifically mentioned we wanted therapy. Not medication. It was a waste of time. Botello asked the receptionist to assign us to therapy. 2 days later I get a call stating that for some reason the therapist wouldn’t see my daughter. For us to go elsewhere. Seriously? Very unprofessional when dealing with someone who might have depression you should never state that they don’t wanna help us. How do u think that would have made my daughter feel? I lied to her and told her you guys are months out booked.

Gina is wonderful. She takes the time to explain everything and knows you are the expert of you. She is there to provide a holistic approach to your health plan and offer her knowledge but does not push medications or diagnoses on you! It’s a humane to human experience! Very satisfied with her as my provider.

I felt very comfortable being in your office. The staff was professional, and Gina was courtesies and respectful. She was very knowledgeable and caring, and I am excited to continue my care with her!

Gina has been my rock through a lot of situations this past year she has talked to me and calmed me and given me many methods to control my anxiety we have done trial and error on depression medications and have achieved a does that works for me thanks to Gina I am learning new ways to handle situations.with so little offered to adults in Yuma area.her help is unreplaceable ….

I felt like my input wasn’t really weighed nor was I listened to. She automatically sited a document for controlled substances as if accusing me. I would not go back if I don’t have to for my daily antidepressant. I still have to resort to my otc for sleep anyway.

Gina Botello is one of the best practitioners I have had the pleasure of going too. She is professional, thorough, knowledgeable and at the same time very personable. I know her support has enhanced my life. I would highly recommend Gina to friends and family.

Gina is the worse type of person. She doesn’t know the basics of her job.stay away from her

When you're opening up to your psychiatrist about your issues and concerns, you should be listened to and have understanding expressed towards you. Gina is extremely condescending, she makes a lot of facial expressions that suggest distaste and disbelief in the patient. Gina told me during today's visit that something I was diagnosed with was not true. I was diagnosed after thorough testing by actual mental health professionals in Seattle. I am genuinely shocked someone like her is working in this field. I feel sorry for any of her patients whose concerns are ignored.

Gina Botello has been an excellent provider for my medical care. I can trust her judgement as she has helped me with various situations I have that are new and also ongoing. Yuma Regional has provided a great website for me to check on my health status and to follow up on appointments and medication refills.
