Karen Miller was horrible. I actually left her office feeling more hopeless than when I walked in. I was told by the woman at the front desk, as well as Karen, that she specialized in trauma, but I was met by someone who only spoke to me about Alcoholics Anonymous and AA meetings. I did my best to express my feelings (something that is extremely difficult for me) but was only met with indifference and advice such as: "You are living in a fantasy land. If you want to live in a fantasy land, read a romance novel. " I couldn't even get through entire sentences/make my points without being rudely interrupted and told that I was "a piece of work. " I am genuinely shocked that this woman is a licensed therapist. I sincerely hope that I am the only person who has had this kind of experience with Karen. I will be contacting Human Resources.
