1. It Is All Just an Act
The two ladies up front are so nice! Unfortunately we quickly found out that their niceness was all an act. They acted like the cared. They acted like they were going to do something about our comments and concerns. They acted like we were important. Their true selves came out when we put pen to paper and signed that dotted line. That's when the walls came down and we were treated like another paycheck.
We called to notify them that our upstairs neighbors were extremely loud and we wanted to see what we could do about it. They told us they would send a notice out. A week went by and she seriously asked us "we havent sent it yet. Why? Is it still happening? " It took everything in me not to laugh. She agreed to get it out before the week ended. We went back a month later to notify them that the noise was getting worse and they admitted that they didnt send it. Another few months went by and the office wont answer our calls, call us back or respond to our voicemails. We have to go to the office and tell them what's going on and they always look so concerned like it's the first time they are hearing this. They really had the nerve to call me and ask me to throw a bag on my front door away after my pup had an accident and I was still cleaning it up, but when I called about my neighbors screaming and stomping around they ignored me.

2. The Community
Trash, cigarette butts and dog poop. That's all you see when you walk outside. It smells like dog poop wherever you walk. The doggy bag station is always empty. We pick up after our dogs using our own poop bags. Always bags or boxes of food wrappers in the parking lot. At night it's very dark and there is always random people walking through the parking lot. People sit in their cars for hours blasting music or smoking weed. At night there are roaches everywhere. They somehow manage to get into our very clean apartment. We have been "sprayed" twice since moving in and they are still here. Car alarms go off for hours at night.

3. The Apartment Itself
The apartments are very poorly put together and managed. The paint is caked on in thick sticky layers. The wood floors are dented, stained and scratched up. When you first move in there are a ton of things broken. We made a list of what needs to be fixed the first day we moved in and we only got it fixed a month later because my boyfriend kept pestering the maintenance guy. Even then we still have a full list of stuff to be fixed or replaced. Our blinds are yellow aside from the few they replaced. Our sinks and drains are rusted. Our faucets are grimy and worn. Our cabinets are sticky and wilted. Our counters are stained and chipped. The areas behind the oven and fridge were stuffed with cigarette butts and old food. The drains smell of sewage gases. There is constant smoke or weed smell coming from our vents.
All of these things we brought to the attention of the management team but were ignored. The apartment is cute and a good starter place but it is definitely a work in progress.

Horrible!
I have lived here for two years
Can't get maintanance to do basic repairs
That's management
I have to fix everything while working two jobs
Dont move here, you will regret it
BTW the management is passive aggressive and will post warnings on your door, regardless if you have done anything wrong

I had an amazing experience with Angela & Ally after my air conditioner went down on one of the hottest days of this year, thus far.
(114 Degrees/7/16/19) My 'roommate' Otis and I were miserable, to say the very least.
These gals literally moved heaven and earth AND stayed at least 2 hours past closing time, to make sure it was fixed for me on the second day it was down. The first day they did everything right too, we just had to wait on Pro service to come when the maintenance guy was unable to repair it himself. Never at any time did they act upset, or inconvenienced by the comedy of errors we all had been caught up in.
If anything could go wrong in getting this fixed, it certainly did. Including the loss of my electricity in my bedroom from the drain from the temporary AC! But these gals went above and beyond.
They were in constant communication with me throughout the process, and even brought me a fan, and an extension cord to provide electricity to my room, until a service tech could get to it.
It took 2 days and 2 very kind gals to get Otis and I comfortable again, but they did it! They even had back up plans for their back up plans- including offering us a night in one of their models, if the AC guy couldn't fix it as planned.
I received world class customer service! Ironic given it came at a time I was wondering if I wanted to renew my lease coming up soon.
If these gals are still with us, and not promoted to another location, I am IN! It is nice to feel valued and appreciated!
Angela was especially incredible, and I am so glad she came to Manage this property! I feel safe and cared for, knowing she is at the helm of Glenridge!
Thanks again Ladies!
We are beyond grateful for your exemplary service!

I have been a resident here for nearly 13 years. I have always had an amazing experience here. Not one time have I ever regretted living here. Maintenance issues are taken care of immediately, and any concerns addressed immediately. Recently we received a new Property Manager who is so organized, effectient, caring and Friendly. Thank you Angela, your amazing!
Just to give you an example. My air went out. Having many health issues, Angela, the Apartment Manager called me "AFTER HOURS", personally.to tell me they're all over it, and soon I'd have a portable unit. She was right in a few minutes Ian, our lead Maintenance Man was there with a portable. Unbelievable caring and service! Thank you Glenridge! I hope to live here for a long time to come!

! BEWARE! Careful about this place, they're unfaithful and will lie to your face, they'll send you to court, even after having a verbal contract of when you will pay your rent. Looks like they like to respond to these comments too, makes it look like they care. Trust me, do not choose this place.

I am currently living here this is my second year, I love the office staff they are always so nice to me, I have no complaints, never had roaches, only complaint I have is with the people letting their dogs poop everywhere and not picking it up this is not the fault of the staff this is the fault of the lazy people who call themselves dog lovers it should not be someone else's responsibility to pick it up.
I was sick for a while and they even gave me a call to make sure I was ok, to me this meant alot.
Im hoping it continues to be a great place to live.
Keep up the good work. Thank you

If I could give these apartments no stars I would have, worst management ever. If your looking to pay to get treated like trash this is the place to go. What apartments refuse to take a monthly payment due to being a Little late on a pet deposit? Glenridge apartments on 51st and thunderbird. The manager in the front office was very disrespectful to me and my fiancé and belittled us. I asked for her bosses number and she refused to give me any information and claimed to be the owner of glenridge. Please if your looking for a cheap apartment that actually cares about the people living there look elsewhere. I would hate for you and your family to end up homeless, or at least wait till there is new management.

Just moved in after hearing about it from a nurse at Banner Thunderbird Medical. Place was recently bought by Canadians and they went to town renovating the place. Cool outside paint, resort-style pool furniture, apartments have new hardwood floors, new paint, new carpet and all new appliances. Cool modern look! Staff is awesome. Highly recommend it!

I'm done here, there's mold constantly growing and they never come in time to fix it. There's also roaches coming up from our sink, not to mention our pipes & sink were so corroded it was just broken. I walked into my home & the place was flooded, I'm TIRED of it. We do not even feel as if we're paying the right amount for how these apartments are.

Horrible place to live, water always not working. Maintaince very slow to repair items. They leave uncompleted work for months. Too many druggies live here now. Management doesn't care or do anything. Landscaping horribly manicured. Worst place to live.

It's a nice community but def to pricey for the area. I've made several requests for service in my apt and they act like the residents mean nothing to them and they have better things to do. The little things to have done take weeks. It's ridiculous

If I could rate negative stars I would! I've lived here for 5 months or so. There are bugs everywhere. Cockroaches in the laundry units and they're always fifthey or not working. I've had 3 washers break while washing my clothes and I had to unplug the machine to even get the door open to get my clothes out. Then pay additional for them to be rewashed. My neighbors are so noisy I live on the top floor they blare their music all day and night, my whole apartment shakes! Called office nothing happened still continuing! When we moved in the fridge was leaking ask for it to be repaired and they said they fixed it but the bottom shelf is always soaking wet and they ripped the vinyl flooring repairing the fridge! I'm sure there's rot under the fridge. We have to have our apartment sprayed every month to keep the bugs away they come out of the drains cracks in the base boards. It's awful here!

I agree with all these reviews, I wish I could've seen them before I moved in. I've lived here for a year and I can't wait for my lease to be over so I can move out. The management is horrible, there are bugs all over the building, and maitnence never does anything right. If you are thinking about moving in here DO NOT DO IT! It's not worth the rent because everything here is crap.

After my precious wife died and I had to short sell our home, I moved to Glenridge because I needed a place. Glenridge is a horror. I'm now about to move out— thank God!
The apartments here are decrepit, and they are full of cockroaches. The maintenance is not responsive. The rent figures are way too high for the little they provide.
Furthermore, the place is dangerous. There are evil people here and drug dealers.
This is enough to say.
My advice is just this: do not live here; anywhere else will be far better.
Thank you,
Mike Woal, Ph. D.

It was amazing living there, the only bad thing was the walls were a tiny bit thin. But it was an amazing experience! And I like that the apartments were near a bunch of other apartments like Rosewood!

This place was once amazing when the old management was still here. New management took over and the nightmare began. First, there are roaches everywhere (which I have requested pest control that never came). Management is ridiculous. I had the unpleasant experience of working with Joanna. She was not professional and did not even try to understand what I was telling her. She was ONLY concerned with the rent being paid. I miss the old management that treated me like family vs dollar signs. I take pride in my home and in keeping open communication with my apartment management. Joanna and the other staff legitimately made me feel unwanted, unwelcome and frustrated. I am currently at ASU west and Glenridge offered a discount program as incentive to move in. Not once was it disclosed to me that the discount was no longer valid if my rent was not paid by the 3rd. My final month I was misinformed by a gentlemen in the office that my rent could be paid a few days late with no consequences. I have already moved out because the stress of this management team has impacted my 4.0 GPA at ASU West. Being a university student is difficult enough. I would caution all students who want to participate in this "program" to find housing elsewhere. I have yet to speak to someone from corporate or otherwise that is professional and realistic. Word of mouth is powerful advertisment. Pay attention to all of the reviews because we cannot all be lying. If corporate reads this, I NEED someone to reach out to me immediately.
